What a great pub. You wouldn't think it was a village pub or out of the way of Newquay. But it is a vibrant, busy pub. It has sport on the TV, a quiz sitting the week. The food on the menu is good. …
Exceptional Sunday roast, delicious tasty beef and lamb. Generous portions, superb roast potatoes. The best Sunday roast I have had in years. Attentive staff and dogs were very welcome. The photo doesn't show the additional cauliflower cheese which is part of the meal.
Had steak night. Food was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection. Good value for money. The wine offered with the deal wasn’t just a bottle of house wine. There was a choice of different reds and whites.
Service was also good. Attentive and with a smile.
Another popular local pub, booking a reservation is advisable. The meals were generous portions. As a small adult, I love the freedom to chose a kid size Sunday roast. The staff remain calm and kind, even at busy times. The live music guarantees an upbeat atmosphere.
