Quintsentially British, an eclectic mix of vintage memorabilia. If you are visiting the area I would 100 percent recommend popping in. The outside seating to the side has great views. Tea and hot chocolate were very good. My wife and mother in law had crumpets with cooked cheese which they loved and I had a bite which was great. I had a had baked potatoe with cheese and beans which was good. Plus a bit of pepper on top. We also bought some cake for the road with Victoria sponge and coffee and walnut and they were both tasty and moist. It was nice to go to a Tea Room which had the standard cakes and tea but also had cooked options as well. The afternoon Tea option looked great but you need to book in advance which we will next time. Would we go back - yes. Oh and they are dog friendly.
What an absolutely gorgeous little place, on our way home from Wales when we spotted this place, went in and had a nice cuppa and a scone, very delicious, and the owners where lovely

As were driving to Wales we saw this tearoom and decided to visit it on the way back. We had a warm welcome by a wonderful, lovely couple. They were very friendly and made us very comfortable. The food was excellent and I would recommend this tearoom to anyone passing by, hoping for an amazing break .
If you have not been to this tea room before then make a point of going one weekend. Hosts exceptional and homemade cakes and scones to die for.
Wonderful experience, how the hosts make the world of difference. Rob and Lynne
Such fun. Tea and cake sumptuously executed in a lovingly period setting. Well worth a side trip. I went by myself and was well looked after. The owners certainly love their job. Lots of period nic-nacs to look at too.
Lovely old fashioned tearoom, nice old cottage, seating inside and outside, original flagstone floor and lots of old fashioned artefacts inside, enjoyed looking round! Sat by bird feeder outside so got some good photos of birds! We had lovely cakes, cafetiere of coffee and tea made with tea leaves which tastes much better (Counted 23 types of tea on menu!) And sugar lumps snd sugar tongs
