Smith & Western

This was an end of half term treat for the kids. Expected it to be a quiet Wednesday, but it was busy with birthdays and celebrations. Food was tasty with main dishes coming up trump. But our prawn starter was not as tasty or well cooked as expected. We had the best server in the building, welcoming, full of energy, and always making sure we were well taken care of.

Fantastic decor and atmosphere. The staff stay in character and the outside is so pretty. The food is good. The portion size is good and there are lots of options. Their sundaes are amazing. I've visited twice and had: the chicken fajitas, the Kentucky Mac, the biscoff sundae and their Halloween special creepy crawly sundae. All of it was tasty. And the price was around £25 per head with a soft drink (we shared the sundae).

Very well spent our 23rd wedding anniversary. The food was so tasty and well cooked. The team are fantastic, all the time so helpful and they are happy to serve everyone. Amazing atmosphere to bring a desert together with a song for our anniversary. We love so much, look forward for the next visit. Thank you S&W team

I had an amazing time at Smith and Western, the American Cowboy-themed restaurant, on a Saturday afternoon. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a world of Western charm and hospitality. The staff was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout my visit. They made me feel right at home and were always ready to assist with any request. Now, let's talk about the food – it was outstanding! What impressed me most was the variety they offered, especially their vegan options. I tried some of their vegan dishes, and they were absolutely delicious. The ambiance was another highlight of my visit. The restaurant's Cowboy theme was executed brilliantly, creating a cozy and immersive atmosphere. The décor, music, and overall vibe added to the authenticity of the experience. I'd rate the ambiance a solid 10/10. Overall, my visit to Smith and Western was a delightful experience.just one thing it’s Expensive and you can not visit regularly but I can't wait to return for another enjoyable meal and a taste of that wonderful Cowboy spirit!

Was really looking forward to coming here after looking at the menu and it definitely didn't disappoint. We came with our daughter son in law and 6 month old granddaughter and was made to feel really welcome. Fantastic welcoming staff and what a setting. The atmosphere was super. Food was absolutely fantastic , great portion sizes and lovely cocktails. 2 for £12 between 5 and 7 Monday to Friday. The sharing nachos with chilli were divine as were the racks of ribs. And ice cream sundaes to die for. Prices were fantastic considering the high quality of food served. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definitely return.

Food was pretty tasty, but service was quite slow despite the fact that the restaurant was not very busy at all. Food was quite nice, I had a half rack of ribs with curly fries. They did forget the additional sauce but it was not charged on the final bill. Ribs were a tiny bit dry and not falling off the bone as you expect ribs to be, but they did taste good.

Great theme restaurant. Menu is a little on the pricey side but portions are generous and the food is excellent. We visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food. A great family restaurant and can be noisy, especially if there are a lot of birthdays (I counted 6 while we were there) so not the place for a romantic dinner - for a family or group of friends it's perfect and I can't praise the food enough.

If you really miss the USA, Smith & Western will transport you back to Texas with their decor and country music. The food really hits the spot for American dinner food but the taste is good enough. We had the Oreo milkshake, Mac n Cheese and the blue cheese burger. It's a good place for a visit if you are going to Tailgate Park

The staff were incredibly lovely, especially to our dog, who got a lot of fuss and attention. The food was amazing - fantastic portions and tasted delicious. I particularly enjoyed their virgin mojitos with passion fruit. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and even though it was busy, the staff were so attentive and friendly. This is an absolute gem of a place - awesome food, great service and super dog friendly. Definitely will visit again.
