Went here to order and there was a bit of a wait, but to be expected as it was rather busy. The lady that served me was really friendly and very welcoming. The food was delicious, brought it home and it was piping hot which is just the way I like my food. Very tasty and well cooked. Nice and fresh. This is a very good Chinese that really do make tasty food. We settled for vegan options and pleasantly surprised how lovely it tasted. Will most certainly be back again soon to try the other Tofu dishes.
The food was absolutely delicious! We have stopped by the store and ordered inside and we’re asking how to get to a nearby hotel. The food was done in 10 minutes and the owner gave us a ride, we forgot chopsticks and utensils and she ran back to the store to grab us some. We ordered fried rice and beef and mushrooms/mixed vegetables and everything was hot and incredibly tasty. We were so pleased we ordered delivery the next day and received our food within 20 minutes. Just as delicious as the day before. 100% recommend this restaurant! Unmatched customer service!
I have lost count of the number of years I have been a customer, certainly over 20! Never had anything other than an absolutely delicious meal and service has been second to none. I remember one mistake, I collected a takeaway and they forgot to put the Curry Sauce in the bag, I wasn’t that bothered but rang to let them know they ‘owed me one’ next time - 10 mins later and the owner turned up on my doorstep and handed me the Curry Sauce!
Above and beyond service.
My only complaint…….. I wish you were not as popular sometimes, but I’ve learned to get my order in early.

Having posted my original review and then being contacted by the restaurant, I have now hopefully edited my review.
My original order was placed incorrectly by myself and unlike many people after receiving a reply, I am happy to hold my hands up when I’ve made the mistake, I would like to apologise to The Oriental and thank you for pointing out to me MY error! Next time I will be more careful with my selections on ordering.
Been ordering here for about 2 years now. Won't order from any other Chinese in Crawley unless they are closed for holidays.
Food is Amazing. Service and delivery drivers are always friendly and polite.
Absolutely blown away by how delicious my takeaway was. I actually only came to The Oriental as my usual takeaway was shut and I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was honestly absolutely amazing. Turned up at exactly the time they predicted it would, delivery driver was so lovely and the food was piping hot and everything was incredibly tasty. Definitely my new Chinese takeaway.
The Oriental is my favourite Chinese place in Crawley. Good value for money, delicious food, and they work really hard to be a part of the community.
One of my favourite takeouts in Crawley, consistently good every time. There is parking outside where you can wait in the car and they will deliver it to you.

We had mixed hors d'oeuvres, crispy chilli beef, 2 veg dishes, pork Szechuan and egg fried rice - all absolutely delicious!
