Tilgate Bakery were our caterers for my dads wake yesterday. They did an incredible job, they were quick, professional, open and flexible to our requests (we were also catering for vegans and vegetarians which they did an excellent selection too)
The food was delicious, laid out really well, it was excellent quality - not a single soggy sandwich in sight! All fresh beautifully baked delicious food. I would certainly recommend them and thank you for doing such a great job!

I wanted to say that the afternoon tea boxes that you supplied for my mums farewell celebration of life get together last Thursday, were absolutely amazing. They were so well presented with individual coloured bows and the food was plentiful, very fresh, scrumptious and worth every penny. Everyone was very impressed, including the venue and I would definitely recommend. Wonderful customer service too!
Ordered 2 cream teas with extras plus a box of ‘no milk, no soya, no red meat’ whatever for delivery for a birthday tea. Delivery was on time, boxes looked beautiful, contents were a delight. Fresh, tasted wonderful and very good value. Definitely recommend. (Ignore the ‘vegan’, that was just to differentiate the box, I’m not vegan)
A massive thanks to the team at Tilgate Bakery who provided our afternoon tea package for our wedding reception. The sandwiches, cakes and fruit were delicious and were a hit with our guests. Whilst communicating with the bakery, in particular with Jane, we received prompt responses to any questions or queries we had regarding our order.

By far the best bakery in Crawley! the doughnuts taste so soft and fresh and they’ve got proper sugar on, not that powdered rubbish you get from some supermarkets. The sandwiches, cakes and coffee’s are fantastic. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help.
Tilgate Bakery delivered 25 kids party box’s and two sandwiches platers for a 6th birthday party. Great service, the food was fantastic and very good value for money. Highly recommend.
I ordered 2 boxed afternoon teas from here. They phoned me to confirm and any dietary requirements. The lady was super helpful and polite. I swapped the macaroons out for two sponges.
Each box only cost £10 and they deliver locally within the Crawley area. The afternoon tea was all home made and delicious. We had 1 fruit scone and 1 plain. Jam and clotted cream went down well. Sandwiches were tasty. All of it was fresh. Loved the details of including a serviette and knife.

So, so good. Catered a traditional buffet lunch for 25 for the gathering after a funeral, delivered on time and presented amazingly, even the lactose free selections were perfection! Could not fault anything, everybody loved it and had nothing but praise. Thank you so much for making a difficult day that little bit better.
My mum and I went to Tilgate Bakery recently and it was fantastic!! We bought a sausage bap, a bacon bap, an apricot danish and a cherry bakewell. It all came to just over £7. Gorgeous food at very reasonable prices. We will be back!
