We stopped off at the Cowdray Arms for a quick lunch before a wedding. They understood our time constraints and were willing to get the order into the kitchen before it officially opened. The food that came out was amazing in taste and size. Would love to visit again when we have more time

Stayed here the night before a wedding nearby. Great staff great food just be mindful of the kitchen closing times as we turned up a bit on the later side than we would have liked, however we were "just" in time. Food was excellent, the chips did appear to defy the laws of thermodynamics by remaining hot for a long time after being served. Room has everything you need plus a fridge too. Would revisit if i have the need for a place to stay in that area again.

Beautiful place. Staff were amazing. Unfortunately we had to spend only one night there but one of the best hotels I was in during our trip. We went to 7 countries in Europe and hands down one of the best hotels. Their breakfast was also one of the best. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. You will definitely enjoy your time there.

Me and my sister want to say a super thank you to the Angel waitress that served us yesterday. We stopped for breakfast on our way to our charity walk and if was not her we would have not been able to complete it. We were walking to Brighton and going the totally unsafe and wrong way, she was so so kind to us helping to find a better route, literally a life saver! We also order breakfast which was so delicious also, the pub was so charme full of country side decor very cozy!

It's a great place with cute atmosphere. Service was Top 🔝 Just the food was a bit of the top mark as we had way to dry burgers (meat) Kids selection is impressive but a bit big for a kid (full size fish which an adult could easily eat) Otherwise we were super impressed by everything and definitely will come back. Garden is very well maintained. Loads of room inside!

Nice and spacious inside. Good sized beer garden as well. Didn't stay in the rooms so haven't rated that but the Sunday roast was pretty good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Chicken burger was a bit dry. The reason for the 5 stars is there service. The 2 ladies working behind the bar were very friendly and I would happily eat average food with the amazing atmosphere they create

We stayed here as last-minute guests when EasyJet moved us onto a later flight. We didn't arrive until 2:30am but our late check in was accommodated. The room (the Stables) was immaculate. Very tastefully decorated, exceptionally comfy bed, great shower. The full English breakfast was exceptional too. A great find and would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay/eat - the pub and its menu both look great, too!

Pleasant country pub with good size car park. Badger brewery tied pub, a bit off the beaten track for the Dorset brewer but beer seems to travel well. Staff pleasant and chatty. Dart board looks out of place, never been used and a table in the way, take it down folks.
