Quite a swift airport to navigate through.
Clean and has ground staff ready to direct and help. Tends to get a little congested but security search is quite swift.

One of the well organized airport I have ever seen. You can find there everything you need. Assistants very helpful everywhere.
Clean and tidy.
Easy access to the bus and train station will connect you with the whole UK.
You know what? It's cool in winter, please more heating will be really appreciated.

Probably 1 of the best airports that I have used for years. Really good communication with train station 1 min linked to the south terminal, you would need the FREE 5 min shuttle to get to north terminal . Constant National buses stopping at south and north terminal. Also you have plenty of parking places , inside the airport and long stay parking with free bus. For departures in South Terminal , you would need to go to 1st floor, and use stairs/lift, the same with North Terminal. Make sure you bring your liquids max 100ml in a measure plastic bag for the security boarding as otherwise sometimes you would have to wait long time to be reviewed. They offer also special assistance by pressing the call button at the parking area.

Get there early as it can get very busy. We flew out of North Terminal therefore the below is for North Terminal.
Security - is well worth paying the £5 in advance to skip the lines
Check in - easy and fast
Shopping - Good options from Harrods, Boos, Dune, WH Smith’s, Sports shop, Sunglass Hut, UK shops, great Duty free and many more
Dining - Lots of options but during busy times expect to wait almost 45 min. Highly recommend Juniper & Co.

The Gatwick Airport South Terminal was pretty good, nothing to complain about. Fairly easy to get to, large and not cramped, a good selection of stores and cafes/restaurants. The Duty Free section was pretty good too.
If you are a smoker then it won't be your favourite, a part from the smoking area outside at the front of the terminal there are no other smoking areas, keep that in mind.

The London Gatwick Airport was so welcoming although our bags at the moment is still stuck in Doha but we are likely getting them delivered in 3days above all it was a pleasant journey

Airport departure, through check-in, security and the boarding gates was very good. The valet parking was good although finding the valet park entrance without Google maps would be difficult, the signposting was not great.

Gatwick airport south terminal. Very easy to navigate through. Looked clean and organized. Lots of shops and restaurants. The gates re nice and very private and quiet. They are separate from the corridors so you can get a little bit of calm down time before your flight. I did not feel that the gates were too far away. The toilet should be more taken care of but are extra large so you might fit your luggage inside.

Always fly to Greece from here, get the £15 coach from Heathrow bus station 1 hour and your here so much easier than driving here a paying for 2 weeks parking!
Quick check in online straight though security with my carry on. Alas no McDonald's or Burger king here so over priced coffees, other beverages and snack foods.
Recommended for your European flights.

Security all ok, plenty seats also quick queue for resturants. Unfortunately, fire alarm went off when we were an hour to board our flight. Evacuated all OK but call back was a bit confusing. Made rush to gate and again poor management of priority queue ticket holders.

Booked Special Assistance in Advance Received a fantastic service from a great team at both Gatwick & Palma Airport. Very pleased with the team for making our journey stress & worry free. Thank you 😊

Extremely crowded, a bit chaotic but overall a nice one from where to take off! Nothing to complain about the North Terminal! Maybe the food court needs to be expanded because queue were very long and chaotic too and for a coffee and a little snack people need to wait too much time.
