Went today for Fish Friday and it did not disappoint!! The serving was huge and it was absolutely delicious. All the staff were very kind and attentive, especially since we brought our toddler with us. My son enjoyed his fish goujons too, it was definitely a treat for all of us. Highly recommend booking a table as it gets very busy during tea time. Can't wait to return again!

Delicious! I had the big Mac and cheese burger and then added sweet potato fries as a side, and every bit of it was delicious! Brilliant value for money, I can't wait to go back to try the Sunday roast next!

Stopped by this friendly pub for lunch on a rainy Friday. Service was fantastic.. and food was all cooked fresh and hot. Chips were home cooked.. and plenty of choice on the menu. My dining partner chose the Lambs Liver with mash and veg. It looked lovely and tasted even better. Attentive and friendly service . Would highly recommend for menu choices and quality of food on offer.

Food was lovely as ever. Was a bit startled to see a 10% service charge added on but then realised it was optional. I agree with tipping waitresses and waiters but not being forced to but I wasn't actually being forced to when I looked closer at the bill. Lovely place for food and always very busy. You also get a complimentary dessert with the roast dinners on a Sunday which is nice!

We had a roast dinner, pie and kids mac cheese. All of our meals were hot, and plentiful. A great team who clearly work well together making it look effortless. So nice to eat somewhere where you feel welcome, and not in the way. Thank you. We WILL be back.

Dropped in after a day out. The car park was nearly full. We decided to eat in the beer garden and had it to ourselves. There were few tables available inside so I'd suggest booking if possible. Food was of a pleasing standard. We sampled the 'classic burger, steak and ale pie and the sweet and sour chicken. Food arrived very promptly and met our expectations. Will definitely return again.

Been popping in here for years. Always consistently good. Varied menu. Efficient staff. Partner had his usual pate starter and then braised beef and I tried the katsu chicken curry. Mine more tangy than spicy buy still nice. Pug friendly. Sunday lunch is my fave meal here.
