Such a wonderful ice cream cart in a beautiful location in Criccieth! We came for ice cream 5 days we were on holiday in the area - we had ice cream elsewhere twice whilst out on day trips, those were good but Cariad Gelato was by far the best! We tried different flavours each time and each were wonderful but our absolute favourite was Pistachio Cheesecake which was the special on a couple of days, just incredible. Even the vanilla was brilliant, which is the mark of a great place. The owner was absolutely wonderful, kind and friendly and kept smiling even on solidly busy days, the team work so hard! Highly highly recommend, it was a special part of our holiday :)
What a great experience! Great service and amazing gelato - much better than the ice cream shops around! We had pistachio cheese cake, salted caramel crunch and chocolate and the flavour is out of this world!
We stopped at Criccieth yesterday and had a delicious home made ice cream from the small gelato seller by the beach. I had the Elderflower ripple which was really lovely but I need to go back and try the Cherry one next or maybe the Rum and raisin, 🤔
The hazelnut ice cream is one of the best ice creams I've ever had, and definitely the best hazelnut, ever. The elderflower berry is also amazing. Highly recommended!
Absolutely the best frozen treat we could have asked for on a sunny day by the beach.
Between us all we had 6 flavours, including the locally picked mountain billberry flavour and each was incredible!! Beyond delicious.

Delicious Gelato at Criccieth. Loads of different flavours. Elderflower and cherry bakewell were fab. Best gelato we have had. Highly recommend.

Delicious gelato on the beach. Italian hazelnut was amazing, but then again so was the cherry, the banoffee and the mint chocolate. Highly recommend,
The ice cream was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Only downside is the young lad wasn't the most enthusiastic or happy.
One of the best ice creams I've had in a while, Very friendly service & even treated our dog to an ice cream, she gives it a 10/10
