Had fish and chips. No plaice on menu. Fish was very nice with crispy batter and the chips were nice too. A little more expensive than I'm used to but very enjoyable. Opened at lunch , 12 -2 and from 5pm to 10pm, not all day as on Google maps.

What a great surprise 😮 the food was indeed yummy and delicious. All the local pubs had finished food orders for the day (after 9pm) my brother and I were late back from a long day of riding. Yummy kitchen was our only place in Crickhowell still taking food orders (until 9:30pm). We ordered the large cod and chips. The cod has to be the best I have ever tasted, the batter was absolutely delicious with a really great texture, and the cod inside was tender and full of flavor. The chips were very tasty and fresh (considering we were one of the last orders of the day). We were both given a massive portion, we both agreed that there would no way we would finish it, and we were both wrong, there was no way we were wasting this Yummy food. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely revisit the yummy kitchen. I highly recommend this kitchen to anyone wanting to experience the best cod and chips 🍟 😋

Excellent fish, chips Irish Curry sauce and mushy peas. The only disappointment was after driving home to Llangynidr around the mountains due to a diversion that the battered sausage was missing ftom our order. Please donate it to a deserving person.

Had to try this place after being recommended and told the fish was the best around whilst on holiday and it didn't disappoint, very reasonably priced for the portions you get, not at all greasy and the fish is excellent! The staff (owner especially) very friendly and even took the time to chat to my little boy and have him a couple of lollipops which made his day. Will definitely return when back that way

We're new to the area so this was our first visit. We phoned our order through and only had to wait a couple of minutes on arrival. Large cod and large chips was plenty big enough for my wife and I to share. Friendly staff - service with a smile. We'll be back!

Fantastic chips were lovely nice to be able. To have sweet potato fries fish batter was dry and crispy best fish shop fish I've had in a long time thank you

Take away meal of cod and chips freshly cooked in what tasted like a tempura batter served in a box with tartar sauce and a wedge of lemon. Had lots of other options on the menu such as chicken wings with bbq sauce, sausage in batter etc. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed.
