Amazing little restaurant tucked away in a wonderfully restored, historic building. The food was full of flavour and reasonably priced, for the quality. I jad the pork to start and can’t recommend enough.

What a delightful discovery when visiting the Midsummer Fayre. Probably the most comfy chairs I’ve ever sat on in a cafe, in wonderful surroundings. Simple menu, extensive wine list, delightfully presented tea! Accessible via lift or stairs. Friendly and efficient staff. Looking forward to a return visit and the castle/court isn’t bad either!

We were just passing by (Ar 2023), looking for a place to grab a quick bite on a Thursday evening and came across this absolutely gem of a restaurant. At the time they were serving only 6 course taster menu. This was one of the nicest meals we have ever had. Truly!!! Every bite is so thought of and made to perfection. Will definitely go back and take our family too. Service - caring and friendly but not fussy! Beautiful relaxing atmosphere in a converted barn. A must try!

It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such a high standard of service and professional care with attention to detail presented by the waiting staff members. Welcoming, charming and a thorough knowledge of each dish they served us. The staff obviously take pride in their service which is rare these days. First class. The six courses we experienced were individually divine. Each one with its unique presentation and mouthwatering flavours. We enjoyed every course and tried dishes we would have shied away from prior to our visit bur as it was a Set menu we embraced each dish and became more adventurous in the process.
The whole experience was a delight. What an incredible place made even more special by its impeccable quality of food, Uniqueness and high standard of service. It was a Valentines night we will cherish. Thank you

This restaurant is a FIND. Small, intimate, quiet location just off the A479 at Tretower village, great service & menu, large free car park, and its high wood beam ceiling gives it great acoustics for quiet conversation. Even though its a 29 hour flight + 4hr drive from my home in Melbourne Australia, we're definitely going back.

We had a fabulous meal at y bwyty bach tonight. We booked it as an early anniversary meal and also to celebrate my husbands birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The duck and mash were to die 4. Connor absolutely smashed it. Can't wait to return in the very near future 👍
