Craig and I had the most wonderful meal here last night. The food was out of this world & beautifully presented. All the staff were friendly and attentive, please pass on our thanks for looking after us so well. Our room had everything we needed and the most comfy bed! Thoroughly recommend this hidden gem and we will definitely be back.
Feel totally chilled out after a 2 night stay here. Very comfortable, cosy room. Breakfast on both mornings was absolutely delicious. Dinner on Friday evening was fantastic. Staff at Barley Bree are all so attentive and polite however not overbearing. Thank you so much. We will be back and cannot recommend here enough.
We visited the Coorie Inn under the new management of Phil and Andrew, and safe to say it didn't disappoint. All of the food was expertly cooked & the portions were generous, leaving us well satisfied.
We particularly enjoyed the Wild Mushroom & Brioche starter, as well as the Chicken & Jerusalem Artichoke main course, although we couldn't fault any of the dishes or desserts. The wines were also well chosen & reasonably priced.
The bar & dining room was recently redecorated and is cozy and inviting, and it was great to see the restaurant supporting local food producers & suppliers.
We would highly recommend to anyone to visit, and will definitely come back regularly as the food & wine offer great value for money & the atmosphere is relaxed and unstuffy.
We had amazing luck to book a room at this adorable inn! Little did we know the food and service we encountered would be the best we would encounter in Scotland!! What a treat! All the staff are professional hospitality veterans and they know how to create a comfortable friendly atmosphere. The food was superb!! Sunday dinner was akin to a Christmas feast! We also enjoyed walking around the little village. We will return some day and we hope this place does splendidly! They deserve all the success !
What an amazing restaurant. We had the scallops and the salmon tartare followed by the braised beef and the catch of the day which was a lobster risotto.OMG this risotto was just out of this world , the beef was tender as you can dream for. The tartare was super nice and tasty. The scallops were really good but could have cooked like 30 sec less but that is honestly the only criticism we could give. We got all that and desserts served in less than 1:15 because we were in a rush. Service was beyond amazing and I also got a special whisky recommended by the whisky specialist or the house. We will be back and so should you. Thank you so much
Read about this place opening in the courier and decided to visit. I traveled from Perth and met a friend coming from the Glasgow area.
Honestly the best Sunday Roast I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Couldn’t fault the food and there was plenty of it too. The staff were attentive and excited to be there and liked engaging with customers.
I would highly recommend for people to give this new place a try! I had a peak at their dinner menu and it looks great too.

A must visit if you're in the area, and well worth the drive if you are not!! Went for dinner on opening night. Food was fantastic, beautiful little restaurant and cozy bar area. Staff are superb, Very friendly and welcoming and have great passion for their craft. Already booked in for a second visit!!
Absolutely stunning, cozy place. The bar serves delicious, honest food while the restaurant offers a great selection of food sourced from local suppliers.
We had the Cod and the catch of the day, both were excellent. Great desert selection and the starters were also delicious (highlight was the whipped goat cheese).
Great option if you are looking for something authentic and local that does not offer just the usual pub food, but also more refined and elegant offering if you choose so, all in a homely environment.
Sunday dinner was exceptional this weekend! Roast beef was up there with the best. Phill and Andrew have set a high standard already after only 2 months. Can't wait to see how they are doing next time we visit.
We booked dinner bed and breakfast for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was fabulous. The food was out of this world. The restaurant and bar are cozy and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had such a warm welcome.
The rooms are comfortable and even the free tea is excellent!

Great little typical of the region place with about 12-16 tables, cozy with great service and atmosphere. There is a short selection of food that is very local but beautifully served, great taste, pricing is very justified but on the higher end. Overall you pay for the excellent service, elegant regional food, good parking and cozy atmosphere. I would visit again.
