Lovely meal .. Cromer crab salad was very tasty and chefs pork and apple burger went down well with my husband .. I would also recommend the white chocolate and baileys cheesecake .. good food at reasonable prices

Classic friendly traditional meals, think shepherds pie and old school crumble and custard like good school dinners! Lovely swift service, generous portions.

We were in Cromer on a very quiet Monday night in April and looked up the best place to eat, and The Garden Street Grill came up. We received a warm welcome and seated straight away.
I had the special which was a pork chop, which was very tasty and a very generous portion.
I would describe the food as good home cooking.
Location is very central with only a 2 minute walk to the pier.

Food and service were both good. The place was pretty warm and could have done with a fan to move some air. I was surprised they didn't have any local ales to try but that didn't detract too much from the food. Good portion size and value for money. Solid, traditional fayre.
Sorry no crabs! Was the welcoming sign. We dither on the threshold because we came for the crab....but ventured in slowly ..to ordered some fish and chips..and salmon...and scampi. All good portion, good service, a bit slow.. but we came out happy.
Great experience on Sunday. Lovely roast dinner with Cauliflower and cheese which was fantastic at a good price. Loved being near the window people watching and relaxing area. Great service. Great toilet facilities. Thank you
Nice place for lunch! Pies are amazing also good selection on the menu, the only let down was the Cromer crab salad was not to the tast I would normally expect but overall good food!
Exceeded expectations, we were skeptical of the decor/vibe however the food was delicious the best hunters chicken I’ve ever had, and our server, Beth was very pleasant. We’d describe it as a very homey place, rich food just like grandma would make 😋 ALSO portions are HUGE good value for money but beware you’ll be stuffed . Dessert selection was very good, custard yummy.
A lovely restaurant with a good selection of food. Portion sizes are excellent and the food is well cooked and presented. The atmosphere is good, the staff are lovely. The rice pudding was just delicious!
