We eat out a lot and this is by far one of the favourites. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Menu is large and varied. Nice big car park so easy access. Great beer garden with lovely views. Dog friendly too (separate from main dining area)
Delicious and freshly prepared food. Good prices. Nice atmosphere. Welcoming and attentive staff. Tidy décor. Definitely recommend a visit here. Looking forward to a return trip. Thank you for the enjoyable meal, Copper Mine team!
The food was totally amazing the beef dish I had with that bordolaise?
Sauce was the best I'd ever tasted and the beef was melt in the mouth over a bed of the nicest Mash I'd ever had. And them red onion slivers done crunchy were gert lush. And the hint of chocolate mmmm.
And my afters were also fab, reasonably priced especially considering the
"Al,la,cart"
Quality of my mains.
I've paid £50 for similar but Smaller dishes in so called
"Fine dining"
And non were any nicer than here,
Oh an added plus, dog friendly
And view from back garden
Is nowt but open fields and sheep.
Lovely dining pub. We turned up latish on a Tuesday to find it very busy. But the food was still delivered quickly and was delicious.
Called in while passing, was shown straight to a table even though we had not booked, excellent food and service very accommodating even served my son a glass of milk.
Visited the copper mine tonight with my partner and his dad. The food was absolutely beautiful, massive portions and great value for money. Service was also very good.
Had 3 mains, 3 desserts and some drinks for £65 which I think is great value nowadays.
Definitely will be back in the future.
I love this place sincerely, although I have learnt to enjoy the savoury stuff and leave the sweet as there is no single dish that I don’t like.
We were even impressed that the fish fingers for the kids menu were actually real fish! Like proper battered cod!
We haven’t tried everything they offer, but we will be back.
Also, they have the best nachos I have ever tried, but they were too good to take a picture of them. We promise to upload one in the future.
We were gifted an afternoon tea voucher for Christmas. Today we enjoyed the best afternoon tea we've ever had. Enjoyed it more than the Ritz in London. Everything was freshly made and so flavoursome. The highlights were the scotch eggs with runny yolks, the corned beef pie,the scones, the whipped cream,in fact everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and the service excellent. They only serve this the 1st Friday and Saturday of the month but its worth waiting for. Would highly recommend.
Fast, attentive service despite the venue being fully booked. Good range of tasty food including steaks, veggie, puddings and cocktails. Dog friendly and our dog was made a fuss of; free roast beef for him! Thanks again to the waiting staff, who were rushed off their feet but excellent 👌
