Great golf course for the value. Excellent fairways and greens. Hilly but also flat areas. Definitely visit again. Made some new friends (Dave, Phil and Des) to play with as I was on my own.
Great golf and food as always
Quality course. The variation is brilliant. Really well kept, few more bins would be handy but still brilliant
Four of us played here today and all enjoyed it. Starting with a visit to the clubhouse where we got a warm welcome along with coffee and bacon sandwiches. Not the longest of courses but with the hilly terrain, each hole presents its own challenges. When we visited today the course was well maintained and very tidy. Would definitely recommend for a day out and we will probably have a return visit.
What a hidden gem this golf course is , friendly excellent condition , with a great signiture hole , you decide which one , personally for me si one, well worth a visit , you will not be disappointed. One year on and this course doesnt dissapoint excellent work by the green staff a forward thinking committee meaning project are achieved, improving the course immensely well worth a visit, but I would hasten to add its a tough track.
Played for the first time today. Lovely course in very good condition despite the recent downpours. Greens very fast and deceptive in their lies. Very challenging from a physical point of view but a good test.
Played at crook yesterday with dad dibsy, got our baits put up by two elderly golfers Mr Greensmith ,and Mr Reed ,and lost the £. The course is getting better every year by the continuing work by our green staff. They take on projects that others would not consider doing, this is making our course the one everyone will want to play. We'll done boys.
Very good course. Quite challenging in terms of terrain and a lot of sloping holes, but very well kept, friendly, good scenery, and a good variety of holes.
A little diamond of a course with amazing views good challenging par 5s and very entertaining par 3s the members are good easy welcoming people and the club house and pro shop are fantastic offering top quality goods and delicious hot meals overlooking the 18th green. The fees are very reasonable too and they also have a very good youth structure in the club offering free membership up to the age of 16
Day one of my week staycation with three rounds of golf booked at various courses in the North East. First up Crook. Challenging course for a 28 handicapper like me. The third in particular was very intimidating. Course was in fantastic condition with some spectacular views.
