We had ham and mushroom pizza and the full Monty burger today for lunch, this came with salad bar and chips. It was very good for the price. And the staff were great. I read a lot of bad comments about this place but today was good! End of the day u get what u pay for:)

Booked for 17 to attend our daughter's 18th 🎈🎈. From the start of the booking and right through to the end of the birthday itself the team at The Barnbow were great. Table booking, deposit and meal orders all sorted beforehand and we were allowed to set up earlier than the booking time on the day. Food and drink were great, all family members were served within a few minutes of each other and waiting staff were quick to clear up. We even had the cake sliced up for us 🎂😁. Huge thanks to all the team from myself, Wife and family for making our daughter's day am enjoyable one 👍👍👍👍.
Great value breakfast. Good quality food and able to serve yourself as much as you like. Kenzie was so so friendly, took great care of us. She was super personable and catered to our every need.
Decided to set up app on phone and it seemed to take an age but once done ordering was easy.. Food and drink arrived quickly, served by a very nice young lady.
The burger and fish and chips we ordered all looked and tasted great.
Only downside to day was holes to roadway to access the car park and car park itself. Being in a wheelchair made it like an obstacle course.
I hadn't visited the Barnbow for quite a long time, but was pleasantly surprised when we visited recently. The place has definitely improved from a few years ago.
We were greeted by our server Gaby, who really looked after our party of 5. Drinks were brought to the table quickly, and there is a decent selection of AF lager and cider as I don't drink alcohol. It was late on a Sunday afternoon and the food was fresh and plenty of selection on offer at the carvery.
The restaurant was busy, but this did not affect the service and Gaby was very attentive at bringing our second and third round of drinks.
If you haven't visited for a while, give it a try, you might be pleasantly surprised!

We visited to take advantage of the fantastic 2 for 1 pizza deal at the end of a stressful day and had a lovely laid back evening at the Barnbow. The food was cooked just how we like it being tasty, hot and fresh, with both the food and drinks also being great value for money. Our drinks were a little slow to come after ordering on the app but, the team were very apologetic when they realised we had been waiting a while and were also quick to rectify the issue although, we weren’t in any rush anyway. In contrast, our pizza’s arrived very quickly and the stuffed crust option is well worth the upgrade. We finished with a rocky road sundae which, is an indulgent delight and in all honesty is huge so, there was plenty for two people to share but, the highlight for us was the friendly service we received. Sue was very helpful and went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable. Nothing was to much hassle even when she was busy serving other tables and she definitely made us feel welcome to return again in the future! Overall it was exactly what we were looking for and although not applicable to us, this pub is very family friendly too which, is nice to see as, those kind of pubs are rarer to find these days! We would certainly recommend paying this place a visit!

In 2023 I have sadly had two funerals to attend. The first was in April for my best friend David who went way too soon. However the catering at the Barnbow left me so impressed that when my
own mum passed soon after the choice of
venue was an easy one. The Barnbow have brilliant hard grafting staff and on site prepared food that would shame many a gastro pub. Sandwiches made from proper carvery and pizza made from scratch.
Basically… if you have a. significant family occasion in East Leeds THIS is the place to choose. Thanks to the team for all your efforts. Conrad.
Great value pub grub at a reasonable price. Always seems to be empty when we go which is a shame as the food is quite good, especially the burgers. Kids meals are a bit pricey for what they are, I suggest getting an adult meal and sharing it between 2 or 3 children. The quality and quantity is a lot nicer and much better value for money. Will definitely be going back.
Popped in for the Sunday carvery, one meat and one meat free. Absolutely lovely, piping hot and freshly cooked. Kenzie was lovely and friendly, found a perfect table and was prompt clear the plates after we’d finished eating. Staff were busy but still friendly, cleaning the tables. Fab food and fab service
I was served very quickly by Emma who was very efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a carvery and really enjoyed it
