The food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be going back to try more form their menu AND to have a try of their afternoon tea; I'm told it's a good one!

Visited yesterday afternoon for brunch. Lovely place, very clean, friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was lovely. The food was outstanding, amazing flavours and great portion sizes and very well presented. We will definitely be back soon and will be recommending the place to our friends and family.

Visited in early November last year. Place looked a bit run down, so I wasn’t expecting a lot. To my surprise the Sunday roast was truly exquisite. Best I’ve ever been served in fact - and that’s no exaggeration. Will return again in near future.
Absolutely love coming here! Such a family friendly environment, also dog friendly! Always our favourite place for a drink and food in Croston, we wouldn't go anywhere else! On site parking too which is always a big plus, plenty of outdoor seating. Great wine and beer selection and the staff have always been super friendly and helpful. No compromise with quality even with all the new guidelines in place.
Took my friends for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. All three are veteran afternoon tea goers and out of all the afternoon tea experiences they have had they said this was the best by a country mile. I myself ate of the regular menu and the food was also excellent. The staff and service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed a relaxed meal here with my partner. Food was very good and excellent value for money. As other people have mentioned the pub itself is a little bit tired around the edges but it was comfortable so it really doesn't matter. We would highly recommend. After noon tea looks amazing so will try that next time
