Came across this lovely pub on our way back from Norwhich . We are on holiday in Mundersly. Lovely welcoming place with an extensive menu which is served all day . The best meal we've had out all holiday . I totally recommend to anyone . Shame it's a bit too far away for us on a day to day basis .

We've been going to this pub/restaurant for many years.
Before covid, we felt that it had been going downhill for a while regarding a massive menu which we found strange 🤔, cook and chill possible?
The interior was dull and dark. Food was just run of the mill.
I think the last time we went, I was very disappointed with the roast, so we decided to re visit at the weekend.
WOW just WOW, we both agreed that everything had changed, interior bright, reasonable menu size, absolutely fine. Staff were excellent, smiling and caring for what the customer is requesting, polite.
The food? AMAZING 👏.
We went to pay the bill and mentioning that we thought there was new owners in.
"No" was her answer and that the landlady has been running for 34 years!

We booked in at 7pm on the 28/09/2023, the staff were really great, friendly and made sure all our needs were met. The food was fantastic, not one person didn’t enjoy what they ordered and the food came really quick. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a great service/ meal.

Went here for the first time as visiting the area. I had beef lasagna and my husband had mushroom lasagna. There was so much in our plate we didn't finish it all.

Went for a meal. This is our nearest pub/restaurant we are very lucky to have such a good pub locally. The way the orders are bought to the table could be better we had two wrong orders bought before ours was finally bought!third time lucky!
Only ten minutes drive for us and always a good choice 🙂 staff very friendly food delicious and well presented.I even had room for the chocolate orange cheesecake on the specials board and it was amazing.Always phone to book even like we did an hour or so before they can usually fit you in highly recommend.
Took my dad for his 83rd birthday Food was amazing staff were really helpful and kind we had to change tables because my dad was too hot no problem. My dad has Alzheimer’s they were all so lovely to him thank you all so much 🥰😍

We had a meal which was great. First time we have been but definitely visiting again. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming. Highly recommend.
