My favourite pub in the area!
I’ve lastly visited Maynard Arms for our daughter’s birthday and everyone left the place fully satisfied!
It is certainly the nicest pub in the area, while we’ve been more than happy with both the food and the service

We went for a 40th birthday party and I have to say the food was incredible. I could not stop eating! The service was great and the atmosphere was electric. It was an amazing night. The guy mentioned in the photo below was extremely helpful, friendly and even asked if we needed anything before his shift finished.

Three of us had a wonderful Sunday roast lunch today. The food was excellent, strongly recommend the Chicken Liver pate starter. Service from Shaak, Ben and the rest of the team was attentive, quick and friendly. Will visit again.

Such a great pub. Shanks (our bartender) was unbelievable and pulled out all the stops to sort us a last minute table for a semi final rugby World Cup game. Cannot recommend enough

This is our local favorite! We always have an amazing time. The vibe/atmosphere is second to none. Bar and food offerings are proper quality. The staff are very nice and attentive. Special thanks to Shanks and Anna who have, a few times, gone the extra mile to look after us.

What a gem of a place! The pub's decor and atmosphere-amazing, I could have stayed a lot longer. The food was great and very reasonable prices and the staff friendly and knowledgeable

I visited The Maynard recently with my family and I have to say what a wonderful atmosphere it has as soon as you enter, it’s quite clearly a very busy pub however the staff take this in there stride and offered us a table immediately. The menu is extensive and everything looked so appetising so we decided to all order differently and then share where we could.
The service we received was perfect, Teona was the first person we met and she asked us about our day and had we been in before as we hadn’t she asked was it a special occasion, which it was.
Molly then looked after us throughout our meal and I have to say was so friendly and pleasant we even stayed for after dinner drinks. The food was fantastic and came out swiftly which was great as we were all very hungry when we arrived:
Can’t wait to return, it will definitely somewhere we visit frequently in the near future

We had an excellent evening, and were taken care of really well by our waitress Mollie and by the host Teona. They were both so kind and very helpful, absolutely made our evening, best service I have experienced in a while! Not to mention that the food was amazing!!

Best mac and cheese I have EVER had, no exaggeration. It's truffle mac and cheese but not overpoweringly truffley- go and order it now! Staff are always lovely, great place - I love it ❤️
