High views this fish and chip shop for some time now the service is outstanding and so is the food you can't get any better

Delicious chips eaten on the way home... What's not to like on some freshly fried potatoes, with some condiments applied ... All this whilst warning the hands on a chilly walk home. Only complaint really is the price of potatoes these days... This is "no bad" on the Golden Fry, just a reminisce of the days you could get a bag of chips for 20p!!!
Don't know if this place has changed hands recently or whether they've just changed supplier, but the quality of the fish from here seems to have gone through the roof !
Having had a poor experience (repeatedly) in the past (under-cooked / over-cooked fish and soggy tepid chips), we had taken to only buying from here if I REALLY couldn't be bothered to go the extra few miles to Finchampstead, but the last TWO occasions I have to say, the quality has been OUTSTANDING.
Consequently I shall NOT now be bothering with anywhere else.
Recommended for quality by a family member, but warned about "farty little portions". The cod was excellent, the chips were average and the "portion warning" was absolutely correct! I travelled five miles to try the food, and I won't do that again, but if I was passing, I would go there again. Nice enough food, but I was still hungry straight afterwards.
Easily the best fish n chips in the Crowthorn / Sandhurst area - though not the best I've ever had still decent for the price. Portions are generous, and the food is usually freshly cooked.
very clean, fresh cooked food and friendly staff. a bit of a wait at times, which is a good thing because you know people like their food.
Visited Saturday 17:10. Service quick. We had cod,scampi and chips. Cooked well, portion size ok.Tasted fresh. Wife thought the chips tasted a bit bland. I thought ok. Better than most in the area (Wokingham)
