Really lovely restaurant with excellent value. The decor is really interesting and not what you would expect to find in Croydon! We were slightly early for our booking so we're upgraded to a box which was very nice and private. The food was excellent, particularly for the price. Particularly enjoyed the crab perfiterolls.
Love it here!. This is a favourite of my family's. The food, service and atmosphere are always impeccable. It's a great place to take visiting friends and family to show them that Croydon has something to offer ;)

Fantastic resturant, fantastic food and fantasic atmosphere. On a Monday and Wednesday they have live opera music - this was more for comedy value, the man was singing to people at the tables and standing on chairs etc. By the way this was for 20 Mins while most people were waiting to be served/just finished so it didn't clash with people eating. Anyway the food was brilliant. I've been 3 or 4 times this year and had something different each time and have yet to be dissapointed. Not to mention the price! The sort of price that youvwould expect to pay at a pub or a harvester. Would reccommend it to anybody.
Little Bay is charming. It is beautifully tucked away in Croydon and is definitely worth a visit. The quirky interior transports you to somewhere else with its mass of golden curtains and bright colours. It really delivers a unique dining experience.
The food is good and it is great value for money. I would advise booking in advance as it is popular and it does get busy! The customer service is flawless and you always leave this restaurant with a full and happy stomach.
Tip: If you're on a date, ask to be seated in one of the booths. They resemble Opera booths, which makes them so cute and intimate.

Nestled away down a side street in Croydon, Little Bay provides all the old world charm one could ask for in a dining experience.
Once inside the discreet and somewhat unassuming entrance, diners are greeted with a lavish, Moroccan boudoir style setting with thick coloured drapes, gold painted brickwork and intimate opera boxes for a more private experience.
The floor area is small and the tables are huddled together, but don't let this put you off. The cosy nature of the place only adds to its charm and once seated the ambience quickly whisks you away into a world of your own.
The menu is typically modern European and offers a unique blend of dishes and accompaniments that compliment each other with a veritable ease.
The Braised Pig's Cheeks with garlic and parsley mash and the Dressed White Crab Meat with avocado and gazpacho vinaigrette are excellent ways to start the evening whilst the Moules Marinier with garlic and shallots in a creamy white wine sauce is a must.
A range of meat and fish dishes such as the Roast Breast of Barbary Duck with red cabbage and sweet potato mash and the Fillet of Sea Bass with grilled artichoke are simple yet effective.
The Homemade Shepherds Pie with rustic vegetables is a hearty edition whilst the choices of lamb; Two Ways, Cutlet Wellington and Slow Cooked Shoulder provide problems worth having.
The Poached Pear with vanilla panna cotto and berry coulis is an ideal way to finish although the Chocolate Mousse is as decadent as they come.
In terms of price Little Bay is unbeatable. All starters are under £4 and the mains under £8 if you opt for the Set A- La-Carte Menu whilst the Premier A-LA-Carte Menu is not much more.
Don't let this put doubts in your mind about the quality, however. The calibre is of a consistently high standard and if you visit on a Monday or Wednesday you'll be treated to some live Opera.
Little Bay is a gorgeous, charming little hidden gem in Croydon. The setting eclectic, the little opera style booths a treat to sit in for dinner and the food delicious and extremely good value for money. Well worth a visit!
What a cute restaurant, an absolute delight! If you can, sit at the back, in the theatre booths.
The portions were bigger than expected, we were stuffed from two courses. The lamb shoulder main was particularly good, with nicely spiced potatoes and beans alongside.
I didn't expect to be able to get nice French food at this price point, especially not in such a novel environment

The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful without being overbearing or hovering.
The food as always is amazing, and so well priced for what you get! It would cost 3x more in a fancy West end restaurant. (Not that I've ever had anything as good in those restaurants)
Great selection of stars and mains, with added specials. Staff were knowledgeable of the specials and main dishes answering any queries without having to check.

Absolutely love this place, hidden little gem. Food is beautiful always well presented and fresh. Only negative is that tables can do with being updated as they're very stained/worn. The restaurant has a lovely feel, very unique.
What's not to love about Little Bay? Book for the back of the restaurant with the eccentric design and live opera on a Friday (it's better than it sounds, trust me! They literally sing the songs then explain the performance for those who aren't familiar so you understand).
The food is great and such amazingly reasonable prices. Am addicted to the mussels and the chicken but they've never quite nailed my steak preference (but that could be more me than them).

Incredible. I loved this place. The vibe, the interiors, the live music... I can't recommend enough! The food and the drinks are very good price-quality. And the most fascinating part is the vibe of the restaurant. Perfect spot for a date, a family gathering or to catch up with friends
Had a really great time at this restaurant in Croydon. Nice to go to an old school and independent establishment.
Service: staffing were friendly and gave us some good recommendations. Starters and mains came when expected.
Food: starters we got the crab profiteroles and duck pate. And for mains two types of steak and I got the paella between the 3 of us. Everyone finished their meals and tasted good.
Atmosphere: very quirky and eccentric interior
It is very rare for us all to enjoy our food when going out, but we all did.
The service does get a bit slower as the restaurant gets busy, but overall, the service was good.
The opera singer on Friday night was a nice touch.

Unique and characterful restaurant serving quality good. I was here with some mates for the first time and I was not disappointed. The place has a cool vibe to it - as you can see from the attached pictures and video. Some of the booths might feel a bit cramped but that adds to the characters - especially if you are seated upstairs. The service we received was top notch and the food was delicious. Quality, portions and taste were all on point and I strongly recommend the food here. Overall a great visit and I would highly suggest you visit this restaurant if you are seeking a decent quality meal without breaking the bank.
Cute little place that you would miss just walking down the road. When you get seated, ask to be seated at the back and you can admire the interior ship like decor that gives you an experience.
The food was served quick and tasted great. Reasonably priced set menu.
