Pretty standard for a Spoons bar. Some excellent drink choices, including some excellent real ales. Outside seating for the smokers, and tables in the basement for when the pub gets really busy. Definitely worth a stop in, if you need cheap (but good) food and drink

This is a lovely place to go for food or drink. With extra seating down stairs it means there is always a table available, even on Saturday! The service is fast and the staff are friendly. I will return here very soon..

Our second Witherspoon experience. Always good. Would have given 5 stars had the cleanliness met my expectations. The tables seemed unwiped when we occupied. On our request, it was wiped cleaned so no complaints for that definitely.

I went to this pub for fish and chips. It was a wonderful experience the staff were on the ball, everything was clean and I felt very safe there was a chap called Marc walking around making sure tables were clean. I would definitely come back again

Great service. Can't fault anything. I ordered 3 small plates for £10 consisting of a ham and mushroom pizza, dirty fries and hot chicken wings. All was lovely. Whetherspoons always cheap and cheerful.

The guy behind the bar,didn't have a clue what he was doing,asked for a glass of wine,which came on pump,got a glass of water instead,as the pump was not working and charged me extra for a glass out of the bottle,as this was not my mistake,why should I pay extra.
I did complain to the manager,and she gave me a free glass of wine + refunded the extra I had to pay.well done to the manager for stepping in.The guy should be sacked for his incompetence.i don't give them any stars for the service.but 5 stars to the manager.

If you overlook the owner of Wetherspoon's horrible political views and tax avoidance then you can enjoy this place.
The staff were helpful and quick, with the new online ordering working very well, I was brought my coffee cup a few moments after placing my order, and my food arrived shortly after. The food was of a reasonable quality and, as is expected at Wetherspoon's, well priced.

You can never go wrong with food from this Wetherspoons. I look forward to eating here again. Great location to have a few drinks and then have a filling meal.
PS. There is a massive seating area downstairs. Meaning There’s space for everyone!

Good range of meal deals. Good beer plenty of other drinks, service can be slow at times but they are very friendly. The pub is big has an upstairs and downstairs. Turns into a nightclub in the night.
