Really nice place, nice outside space with lots of greenery and similar theme in side past the proper old style bar area. We had pizza's which is the main choice on the menu, they were great! We had the veggie garden pizza and the mushroom and truffle pizza. Packed with veg and lots of cheese! I was there on a Tuesday quiz night, great fun and great atomsphere!!

Great local, family run pub. During the summer there is a lot of outside sitting in the quiet backyard.

Update May '23: everything as good as previously. Tuesday quiz seems madly popular but well run (even though we only managed to come 6th out of 17 - who am I kidding, well chuffed with that!). If you're there by 7-30 you'll have no trouble finding a table. Food/staff also still great - pizzas chuffing lovely 🍕

Good pub, good value for money, good crowd. Only downside is not having a cocktail menu - even a simple one with easy classics would do!

Nice quiet beer garden out the back, good selection of Fullers ale. Not tried the pizzas, but they smell nice from the kitchen.
