Wonderful experience!
Family run restaurant, Mr and Mrs Santini were so welcoming and kind, they chatted and joked with my 7 year old and made us all feel very at home. The food was delicious and authentic, we were recommended the wine by Mr Santini and very well looked after. Will definitely be returning!
Very nice food at reasonable prices, and very friendly reception.
We were there with my children, and the owner was joshing and joking with them, keeping them entertained and telling my son he would have to wash the dishes after our meal. My children loved it.
Renzo's swan song themed dining event on Friday 26th Nov was a huge success. It was also a sad occasion for those so familiar with his amazing culinary expertise, for he has finally retired and the restaurant will be under new management from December.
All his regular customers wish him and wife Gillian a long, happy and healthy retirement.
This restaurant had been recommended by our neighbours and then when we went first time we were astonished by the quality of the real Italian food and the company of the owner, his wife and their nephew. This is the best Italian in the area - trust me! Won't be disappointed...
The food is fine, having flavors with basic presentations. Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful; gave great recommendations to try, and served the exact dishes we ordered. The ambiance was relaxing.
Amazing food and service. The food is just absolutely perfect, I like the fact that this is not a chain and probably therefore the quality is superb. The guy also makes his own homemade ice cream - and it's amazing!
Fantastic food, great hosts, lovely atmosphere...for a good price. This restaurant is now officially my favourite Italian restaurant. I absolutely recommend it!!
This is my go to restaurant. the only problem is Renzo knows my preferences better than I do - if choose a wine he suggests another and trouble is he'll be right.
Do not let the outside appearance put you off we've been going to the Gourmet nights for years. I've taken others who ask is it really open but after they have been once they become regulars.
Please don't tell too many others cos I may not get a table when I want one.
Before we moved to Kenley my husband and I went to this restaurant for my birthday. We had a lovely meal and met Renzo the owner. He was a really nice guy, and because it was my birthday he made a special dessert for us, one of my favourites! Now we're living in Kenley, we go quite a lot especially for the live music sessions, and of course a lovely meal! I can highly recommend this charming restaurant.

Nice cosy restaurant. Not the kind of low cost driven places, with zero care for food and customers you find in central London
The quality of the food is exceptonal and the care, attention and pride that Renzo takes in the preparatoon of his dishes is nothing less than extraordinary. Well done to the team! We need more of these places around.
