Delighted by our delivery of double cod & chips, with mushy peas. Big portions (and you can choose medium or large), which arrived hot and fresh. Proper, traditional fish & chips, will definitely order from these guys again. Lovely! Edit: second order a few months later, excellent again. Surprising how well it keeps its form steaming away in the delivery boxes served piping hot - even the batter had some crispness to it (no complaints if it hadn't done) - also it's very fairly priced given the fish is quality. Really good!!

Gr8 fish and chips, always cooks the fish fresh to order, I call before hand I don't like my fish straight out the fryer, The place is clean contrary to one review, the chips are not greasy and have a lovely taste. The owner is 1st class, it's taken a while to find a decent chippy and I can recommend this one.
Huge portions, so big that a single cod and chips supper sufficed for two grown adults.

I have to say that this Fish and Chip shop does the best Fish I have tasted, it is very fresh and hot when you get it. You can actually sit down and eat the food at your own pace.
The only downside is that don't ask for the tea as they actually burn the water and it tastes horrible but apart from that you have to try the Fish here to see for yourself how nice it is! I would definitely not recommend the Large Fish as it is massive I have never managed to eat it all when eating there. And have the Curry sauce it is very nice!
