A very simple but quiet place, excellent food I ate an omelet with chips, good. One of the waitresses is Italian, very kind and experienced in her work. I will be back. Thank you .

Beautiful hidden gem if you hadnβt heard of the cafe, it is one of this that isnβt stood out very well but my aunt brought me here today. I ordered one of the specials and my compliments to the chef as was beautifully balanced on spices and portion was bigger than expected. Enjoyed very much. When I asked if had cream - I thought pouring cream so ordered a coffee with cream, had an americano with squirty cream but did work just as well. Staff were fantastically friendly and I recommend visiting here.

Super cafe, basic surroundings but nice and quiet with lots of seating. Great selection of cakes..red velvet was gorgeous. Lots of savoury options too. Good value.

Lovely cafe to go for brunch, a very spacious cafe with lots of seats. It was our second visit and the food wasn't as great as our first time but still good. I'm guessing some dishes are yummy so we just need to go more to see which ones are they. Coffees are similar for some odd reason, my mocha during my first visit was amazing but second visit wasn't as good, let's see what happens in my next visit.

Tasty, reasonable and friendly service. Try the full veggie breakfast. The veggie sausages are lovely and a generous portion of beans which others skimp on. Keep it up guys. Will return.

I came here with a friend for the 1st time today and pleasantly surprised. Got a coffee and cake. Really like the light in the space and there's nothing quite like it close by. It was nice they had sofas so not all hard seating.
They close the first part of the cafe earlier than the other at a bit of an unusual time but otherwise really nice.

Went here today for an iced chai latte which was a lifesaver in this heat. The cafe looks soooo pretty when it's sunny. The staff were also super kind, with the barista attempting to make an iced version of their chai latte for us even though they do not have it formally on the menu. It turned out really good, by the way.

Staff we met were pleasant and chap serving was friendly. Fair price for a cooked breakfast at lunch time. Would have liked more chips & tomato for price. Coffee was good. Place was clean and bright. Tables were spaced nicely.

Lovely cafe that is just inside of the Croydon Library. The cafe is brightly lit and very welcoming for families or just a quick bite or drink while visiting the library. The food is varied and suitable for all diets. There is some shared outside seating but on the pavement side. It's not normally super busy but has and has a bubbly atmosphere.

The gentleman host is welcoming and extremely accommodating - offering substitutions and serving promptly.Β The food is superb - best jacket potato for miles.Β The prices are fair and reasonable.Β The atmosphere is convivial - a bright and friendly space.Β When you've satiated your appetite for food, don't forgot the Croydon Museum (in the same building) with exhibits from the Anglo-Saxon to the present day fashions.

Lovely little cafe - nice and bright. Ambiance was good π<br/>Not too thrilled about the experience though for my first experience here. When asked if they would take the orders or we would need to order on our own- answer wasnt proper. When we finally went to order, the tea and coffee area was before the bill counter and the server could have asked us to pick the cups before returning to table. Only when we looked back, we realised that the tea and coffee had been served and just kept on counter - if we had not looked back, not sure if our beverages would have just stayed on the counter getting cold. Very bad communication...π<br/>Food was good, veggie sausages amongst the best i have tasted so far. Quality and quantity of the food was also good. Price reasonable πππ<br/>Definitely worth a visit for the food <br/>
This is a lovely little cafe right next to the Croydon library clock tower. Not really a big fan of the interior as it's dull and ordinary, however the food is always good in here. I was here with my friend to have a small meal. I ordered the Mexican chicken baguette and he ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich. My baguette was nicely toasted and the Mexican chicken was very filling. I tried a bit of the Cajun chicken and think I will get that next time I am in Croydon.
