The Crown - Ember Inns

Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere (very family friendly) food was lovely although could have bigger portions for the price especially the veg on sunday roast but burger and chips was tip top! Staff were absolutely lovely and went out of their way for any request for the kitchen or drinks orders. Outside area is really nice- love the little huts with heaters in! Wish I had taken the barmans name down to make an extra compliment for him as he went above and beyond for my Mrs who wanted tabasco with her bloody Mary which he hunted down and brought out to us at our table! Will be back and recommend for a nice chilled meal or just a casual drink with mates!

Enjoyed my visit food was good, drinks OK, atmosphere good although it was quiz night and we didn't participate. Toilets not good see comments later. Disappointed next day when I checked my bill in more detail to find I had been overcharged for drinks extra drink on the bill that we didn't have. I should have checked better before I paid.

Always have the best time here! Amazing cocktails, food, staff & atmosphere. Big shoutout to Lucy who always serves us for making sure our experience is 10/10 every time!! The garden is perfect for summer nights, along with the heaters and huts for the colder months. I would definitely recommend the strawberry mojito :)

Had a amazing experience at 'The Crown', the food was of very good quality, the service was quick and overall the food/drink was great value for money. The garden was lovely, a great way to spend a summer's day. . I look forward to returning to 'The Crown' very soon, I would highly recommend 'The Crown' as a great place to visit.

It was our anniversary and we decided to go for a meal at The Crown as I had heard good reviews about it lately. We did have a slight issue with the menu but after speaking to the waitress and the deputy manager (my apologies for not noting both of your names) everything was solved and ordered to our satisfaction. I do think they need to add at least one more vegetarian option to the evening set menu (the lunch menu has three options) but understand that they are part of a chain and that they no doubt have certain restrictions. However the food was of a very good standard, staff were attentive and friendly and we had a very enjoyable evening. Will definitely return in future. Thank you.
