The Nigerian food here is always 5* and fresh. Jollof rice is just how I like it: al denté with lots of flavour, a bit spicy and no burned bits. The fried fish & efo riro are also nice. Service is good. Possibly could give more plantain in the jollof rice portion though. On the whole 5*

Ordered Deliveroo despite the mixed reviews because I was craving Nigerian food. The food was really nice but you need to revise your portion policy. I had enough rice and meat with the ayamase dish I ordered but three plantains just doesn’t make sense. See for yourself - pictures attached.
**Review Update**
I tried Lagos Island 5 months after my initial experience and called before ordering on Deliveroo to find out if I could get an extra portion of plantain. This was made possible and I am very pleased with the experience :). I’ve amended my rating to 4*. My only recommendation would be to make that option available via the deliveroo app.
