Burnt Bridge Fish & Chips

Me and my Family was looking for lunch first time getting take away from The Crispy Catch fish & chip, The staff we're very welcoming and took my order in good time and food was cooked at it's best, potato cakes a bit small ask for 4 and got compensated with 10 Very nice fish and chips love them so that's a win win..

Got some whiting, pineapple fritters, potato cakes, chips and veggie burger. The chips were really good nice and crunchy. The potato cakes we also crunchy, but perhaps a bit thin. The pineapple fritters were amazing! Really delicious. I ordered one fried fish and one grilled, but the fried fish was soggy. We only live 5 mins from here so it must have got soggy very quickly but it was disappointing and not enjoyable. But the grilled fish was quite nice. The veggie burger was good, nothing to write home about. Probably will try other local fish and chipperies before returning (just my experience).

**updated to 3 stars per owners reply** Menu incorrectly states that the lamb souvlaki is ‘off the spit’. I ordered two and arrived to find it being fried on the grill with only a chicken spit available… Giving it the benefit of the doubt I was let down with what appears to be lamb forequarter chops used due to the grizzle / fat scattered through out. The chips were crunchy but taken way too far which meant they dried out very quickly. Left disappointed having spent $34…
