This is really a take-away joint (so 1 star for atmosphere) and while the premises could well do with a makeover, the food is fantastic. Good portions, reasonable prices and tastes delicious. I been several times and have not had a bad experience yet.
Just note that this place is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

On Friday 28th October 2022, I was at my friend's house and we decided to order a Chinese.
We came across Dong Hai and saw the 4 stars and thought, let's give it a try.
Now....let me say the food did not disappoint. Every dish we ordered was tasty and very nice.
Curry Sauce - Best one I've tasted
Sweet and Sour chicken - Very nice Nice but has no pineapples but that's ok.
BBQ Ribs - tasty and meaty
Chicken Balls - good portion and nice
Spicy fried rice - delicious
Chicken Fried rice - delicious
Chicken Noodle - nice texture, not dry.
Beef in black bean - tasty
We will definitely be ordering from there again for a girls night in.
I hope they don't change the chef! 🙂

My local Chinese takeaway. Food is cooked well and is always enjoyable. My favourites Shredded chilli beef, Fried rice noodles Singapore style without pork or bean sprouts and King prawns with spicy salt & chilli. They always cater for my needs and will not add ingredients I don't eat. You can pick up or they will deliver if you are fairly local.

Excellent Chinese menu, with some Thai and Singapore dishes. Have ordered a number of times and food is always hot and perfectly cooked. Can take a little longer on busy nights, but it’s worth the wait. Superb!
