Returned to this pub as it was opening from lockdown. It was fantastic and I am glad it made it through the beer was excellent but best of all was the warm welcoming approach. Unfortunately they were not yet serving food but when I ate there previously it was superb. Love it.

Me and my partner had a meal here while on holiday lsst week and it was bloody delicious! The food was hot, cooked beautifully and i could have bathed in the stilton sauce that came with the steak. Very good customer service, would highly reccommend :)

Visited last night, booked a table for my husband who wanted a 'proper' pie, they reserved us two, couldn't do enough for you. Service great, pies amazing, lovely atmosphere, thank you soo much and definitely be back soon xx

Came here 2 years ago and had lovely meals and was greeted by friendly staff. Walked in this Sunday afternoon, even though they were busy we managed to get a table. Sunday roast was amazing and the staff remain friendly and eager to please. Definitely worth reserving a table for your Sunday dinner.

Really friendly welcome, good home-cooked food (the pies are massive!) and a generally easy-going atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend it rather than most complacent and expensive eateries in Newquay (!) You can even drive down to Holywell beach afterwards!

Absolutely excellent, staff were brilliant and all round great hosts. Child and dog friendly, and the food was outstanding. The chilli had a real kick and the steakburgers were fantastic. Great portion size and real value for money. You really are missing out if you dont pop in here for a meal and a beer. Genuine 5 star experience.

Absolutely go here to eat. Staff really friendly, food and beer fantastic. I recommend pie night on a Tuesday, the steak and ale was to die for. We would have gone back the following night but for a bad back meant an early return home. Cannot recommend this place enough.
