The Greendale Oak - Cuckney - Photo album

Popped in today, hadn't booked luckily we managed to get a table. Ordered our drinks and food at the same time. We were then left quite a while waiting for our drinks, that long in fact that our food came out first. A young lad I think is name was Jack noticed we had been waiting and quickly sorted
This is a lovely traditional pub. The food is very good, with very generous portions. The service is friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back soon.
The pub is in a lovely location and the seating area outside is beautiful on a summer evening. We were a party of six, most had a tomahawk steak which to us was over cooked and the others ordered ribeye which was under cooked but actually tasted nice. The staff were friendly.
Great food, fantastic service always with a smile and great friendly banter, lovely atmosphere, definitely recommend, will be going again
Excellent service from the staff, a very pleasant environment, great beer and delicious food. My fish was do succulent and tasty, the batter, thin and crisp and the chips close to perfect. Fantastic.
Had Sunday lunch here. Massive portions, amazing food, everything cooked perfectly. Dog friendly too!
Fantastic choice of food and drink. Great prices and portion size. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning
Absolutely loved our visit. The pub itself is charming and welcoming. When you walk through the door, it just feels right. The staff are so friendly and pleasant and greet you nicely with a smile. As for the food - it does not disappoint. We went for Sunday roast (great choices available) and t
Nice pub and beer garden. Warm and friendly atmosphere and nice helpful staff. The blond pale ale was very well kept and tasty. Food was reasonably priced and very nice. I fed back that it wasn't overly warm which was explained back to the kitchen staff (it wasn't overly busy at the time of eating)
We made a short stop for a meal on a journey from Chorley. The service was excellent, the food v good and the setting relaxing with beautiful flowers in hanging baskets. We would call again.
Called 2 days ago, I had the fish, chips, mushy peas, tartare sauce and curry sauce for £14.50. Absolutely excellent, real value for money. I struggled to eat it all! Also pleasant welcome and good beer.Recommended!
Lovely place, nice and rustic feeling, the outdoor pods are also a nice touch when the weathers warm and you want to sit outside. Food would get 5 stars with my food choice, (cheese fondue), however my partner had the burger, which unfortunately wasn't great. So had to give it a 4. Other than that,
The food was delicious, fresh, very large portion. Good beer. It was a great time, thank you. I highly recommend this pub.
Lovely alcove for 2 , We had an excellent meal and the atmosphere was great. The burger was massive and tasty and the friendly staff very inviting
A really lovely pub. The Sunday roast was plentiful and delicious however the burger we ordered wasn't great at all. It didn't come with pickles and coleslaw as advertised
The food was amazing for the price. The portions were a good size. Service was good. Just popped in for brunch. My husband had a burger meal, I had a wrap with extra chips. The chips are amazing. We both had an alcoholic drink. Went again recently on a sunday, and it was very busy, so I suggest you
Really nice food and atmosphere. Quite a cozy pub. Seafood pot was amazing
Our server Charlie was an absolute superstar he really made our night! A real credit to the company, just a shame the assistant manager would not let us tip him directly as well as leaving a tip on the bill for the rest of the staff and service. He really is a jewel in the greendale crown!!!!
