It's our local Chinese and our daughter enjoys the chicken noodle soup. We dined there at least once a month. The service is friendly and helpful. We tend to eat what we know our daughter enjoys.

Love tbe mix of Asian flavas from malsysian curry to szechwan prawns to toffee apple dessert. Yummy food and a friendly atmosphere. Suitable for the family or as a couple. Mid range prices. Defo worth a try 😊

Great 'chinese' - not traditional of course, but all the dishes you'll expect. Friendly staff, well prepared meals. Always come here when I am visiting the area.

We have been going to the Oriental Star for about 30 years and it is one of the very few restaurants that doesn't just maintain it's good standards - it manages to get better.
The food is excellent, the service delightful and the whole experience really great. One of those places that is not the cheapest but excellent value for money

In the fifteen or so years since I started coming to this restaurant, I've never had cause to complain about the food or the service.
Yes it's not cheap but it's a lot better than the cheaper ones I've visited.

Great quality Chinese food but slightly on the pricey side. However the quality of the ingredients clearly high and the food actually has flavour. Much better than many of the other Chinese restaurants I've been to.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I have to say it was a fantastic. The owner was great, very attentive as were the staff. The food was great, not greasy and plenty of flavour. I have no hesitation in recommending this place and they deliver as well. I have now found my favourite Chinese restaurant.

Probably the best in the area. Food is authentic, the menu is rich and an excellent win list. The lobster is out of this world, the service is superb and Andy the manager will always great you with a smile!
