I called in here at tea time today for the first time in years. Ordered fish and chips and sausage and chips. They were gorgeous. Was surprised at the negative reviews. Perhaps it's improved.

The food was awesome. The best chips i have eaten for ages. Gorgeous smooth gravy. And the sausage was cooked to perfection. Plenty of close by parking which is a great help.

I grew up in Culcheth and there were always decent fish and chips available. I came to visit family a couple of weeks ago and OMG! The fish, chips,peas and gravy were absolutely delicious! The batter on the fish was not in the slightest bit greasy and we ate every morsel.

Great tasting food with the basic fish and chips options plus kebabs and children's meals. Chips are cooked in oleic oil, so low cholesterol. Which means I can go more often 😁. There are cheaper chip shops though.

I don't often have a chippy tea, but when I do this is the only place I go to.
Queue was around the building to the back car park, despite this it was less than 20 minutes from joining the queue to leaving the shop.
Staff were polite, and doing a tremendous job keeping the socially distanced queue moving quickly.
Food was cooked to perfection and still piping hot when I got home.

Kind friendly staff, anyone who serves you is very polite and the food is always cooked to perfection. Everything is clean and tidy which is nice to see in a fast food place. Wide variety of dishes. Service is fast. Would highly recommend to anyone
