Great food and great value. I had steak pie that was crammed full of meat and a delicious sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Cost was lower than expected for the quality. Dining room is a little loud as lots of hard surfaces seemed to be echoing the sound round the room, but still a lovely village pub.

Amazing food. Had the chicken, leek and ham pie (proper pie not just a lid) pastry was amazing and so much filling inside.
This is our local, a very traditional Devon pub and has excellent food and well kept ales. Service and atmosphere are brilliant too. All in all it’s a real gem of a country pub!
