I had never been in before & thought of it as being your basic run of the mill place like Harvester but no the Food was absolutely amazing, staff were lovely. Normally I'm hard to impress as I work in hospitality however I have broken my elbow & I took my sling off at the table as I get uncomfortable wearing it, the staff had noticed it when I came in and came over to say the chef said would cut up my stake as they know I couldn't, it's the little things that are so appreciated. Would highly recommend here for any occasion.

Came for an early lunch on a Saturday. Staff were friendly and professional. Lots of space at the table. Good selection on the menu. Had steak sandwich with fries and signature burger with fries. Will definitely return.

I have been to The Red Deer several times, alone and with groups, and cannot recommend it enough. The food by Fraser and his team is always excellent and the service too is exceptional. Friendly staff who are attentive without being in your way. Today Rachel and Emma were both brilliant, so welcoming and helpful. It’s a great place to spend time working or catching up with people without feeling rushed out the door. I’ll definitely be back.

I had the most wonderful experience at this place. We chose to sit by the open fire and enjoy a delicious lunch. The food was simply outstanding, and the service was top-notch. I couldn't resist trying the stone-baked pizza, and it was truly amazing. What's even more impressive is that this place is dog-friendly, providing water bowls and even dog treats. Plus, the variety of beer options made the visit even more enjoyable. A fantastic place to dine and relax!

This is a fabulous, somewhat difficult to find, rustic, old style eatery. It is cosy and comfortable, perfect place to take your favourite lady and also very suitable for any special occasion. Situated off the M80 stirling Road just past Cumberland from Glasgow, you have to be sharp or you will miss the turnoff signposted Airdrie A78. Very worth finding, this is a superior chain style pub with an excellent extensive menu for all tastes. Favourites are Hunter's Chicken and Beef in wine gravy pie .Quality of all dishes is superb. Tonight's mash with spring onion had a lovely, creamy texture. Carrots were not boiled to a pulp but had been par boiled perhaps as they had the required bite to them. I have history here as i celebrated my 60th birthday with a huge party. Laura, our waitress tonight was very helpful and friendly and supplied excellent service throughout our meal as did all other staff members. This is indeed a very satisfactory culinary experience and is thus thoroughly recommended.

We stayed over at Ibis hotel so our main source of entertainment was the Red Deer, once we found out that dogs were welcomed we knew we that this was definitely going to be a nice place for a hangout. The restaurant itself was stunning, wooden pillers, and beautiful fireplaces and paintings. The staff were absolutely down to earth and humble, they reccomended us drinks, food and even gave us information for places to go for a nice night out. We ended up staying at the Red Deer for drinks and the atmosphere during the night was tremendously pleasant, I made memories with my family that I know I won't forget. The only reason I gave this review a 4 stars was because some of the cocktails took a couple of minutes than I imagines but knowing that the red deer usually isnt the busiest it makes sense. Compliments to the kitchen staff for making absolutely beautiful food.

Cannot rate the service highly enough. Waiting staff are fabulous. Menu choice was great. The restaurant is cosy and very welcoming. Was with a group of girlfriends and we were so well looked after. One of our favourite local restaurants.

Wow, what a restaurant by far my firm favourite now. Great staff who cannot do enough for you. A great easy to choose menu….. I went with the Salt An Pepper Calamari for Starters and for my Main the Duo of Lamb. My son had Pizza and chips and may I add was absolutely lovely. My other half had the Sirloin Steak which was melt in the mouth good. Both were absolutely fantastic. Great place I will be back.

I came to the Red Deer this afternoon with my 2 friends and the experience was second to none. The staff were very friendly and attentive, with quick service at hand all thanks to Cassie and Rachel. The food was absolutely amazing, credits to the chefs on shift. We also had some cocktails which were delicious, great experience all round. We look forward to our next visit.

It was my second time at the red deer and it was just as great as the first! As always the food was amazing and staff were very accommodating, we were lucky enough to have the same server as before- Rachel! She remembered us and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is great and will recommend a trip there to anyone!
