Lovely little place food was great kids menu is brilliant £3.50 only and huge platefuls with a drink and ice cream . Host was so welcoming . Folk you should really visit here we found this great place after visiting the Deer Centre and less than 5 minutes along the road. Maybe the Deer Centre should advertise the tavern and vice versa. Support the local community (small businesses)
Stopped here after a visit to the Deer Centre. Food was good, solid pub grub. Prices were great value given the decent sized portions. Friendly pleasant staff and a quiet atmosphere. Enjoyable all round.
Only complaint, the sizable burgers could have done with firmer buns. Also, the chilli served on the chiili burger was ace, you should have that on the menu!
Last minute decision to go out for tea. Had never been before however the food was outstandingly delicious and fresh with what felt like 1990s prices. There is a large selection on the menu however the specials boards must have had 20+ additional choices. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back very soon. Thank you Springfield Tavern and see you soon 😃
A welcome stop whilst out mountain biking around Fife. Friendly service, we sat outside. Didn't eat but had a look at the menu for a future visit it. Looked a good choice and decent value
There a couple of weeks ago. Looked hard to find Dusty but it was clear that she wasn't there.
However, every thing else about this venue was perfect and I shall pop the joint on my return bucket list. Be back Soon.
Great place and really reasonable prices! Was surprised it was so empty but likely due to the event in st andrews. Owner was lovely as well. Will definitely come back at some point!
What a brilliant we place, great folk inside, tasty food with a good choice from a more traditional 'pub menu' and you can have a smaller portion if required. Very reasonably priced, dogs are welcome in the bar although guide dogs etc are welcomed into the lounge.
A very cozy and well presented bar and restaurant. The owner was extremely welcoming and pleasant. He has obviously taken a great deal of time and trouble to achieve the high standards which the premises have. There is a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. The menu is extensive and good value for money. I can personally vouch for the breaded haddock high tea. The village of Springfield is a little bit off the beaten track, but if you do find yourself in the general area, Springfield Tavern is well worth a visit for some food and a drink or two
Food was fantastic, brilliant service. Made to feel really welcome by friendly staff. Good value for money too. Will recommend to friends 🙂
The Springfield Tavern is a traditional pub and restaurant which is a focal point for village life. Friendly staff and range of well priced beer, wine and soft drinks.
