Went on a Thursday with a group. There's 4starters and 4mains to choose from and puddings available. Big portions well cooked. Simple pub grub and worth the price. Great service - friendly and attentive. Beers and wines available at the bar. Nice atmosphere and it was busy so best to book.

Popped in for Sunday Dinner after a walk around Figgate Park with our dog. Dogs welcome in their own area & had a two course / three course dinner each. The Sunday Beef Roast was really tasty & reasonably priced.

Dog friendly. Beer good. Food gorgeous. Bar staff excellent and attentive. Only quibble was not enough veggie options for someone who doesn't like cheese. BTW Pauline is the Mrs, but this is my account 😄 …
In to watch hibs v hearts the place was packed. Service was quick considering how busy the place was. Football fans from both sides made to feel wecome and no trouble while i was there.
