Greggs, perfect for a quick bite, not too expensive either. Scotch pies are superb, but not straight from the oven as you will lose your taste buds for a while lol. Wee apple danish are also a go to.

A smaller cosier wee Greggs with just a couple if indoor tables but some outside too. Always good quality food and the staff here are friendly and helpful.

Came in for a little snack. Got what I wanted, Joshua was a champ. Got me and kids fed eh. Was worried about Christmas dinner but josh said the sandwich selection is quite popular and defo filling enough for me, my 4 baby mamas and our collective 13 1/2 kids. Getting quite emotional as I remember this stellar encounter. 10/10 would go again

Can't believe I'm reviewing a Greggs since they are all the same (hot pies!) and I don't love chains, however it was reassuring to see a place properly following the covid hygiene rules. Masks on employees plus a big clear screen, doors open to ventilate, hand gel at door. We walked on past a couple of other places in Dalkeith due to seeing things like food being prepared by people with masks down at the chin etc.

Cant beat a nice bit of Gregg's, love the coffee and absolutely love the steak and cheese baguette its like the perfect combo, staff are always pleasant and always helpful the shop is a nice environment to have a quick coffee and is clean too.
