Really enjoyed our visit here the other day. Service was fantastic and so were the food prices. We used to go to the Brinkburn but found this now to be our new go to. For some reason the prices are lower at the shuttle and loom. We will be coming back

Fantastic family friendly pub. They have loads of entertainment on the weekend for families. Food is lovely and service is outstanding.

Lovely pub, nice and quiet; good is delicious. Occasionally they do something to the rump steak that makes it beyond delicious and I primarily come here just for a chance to taste it
The crispy chicken strips are also great 👍

I wasn't expecting a lot from this pub, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The pub has the usual pay at the bar with your table number system. There are plenty of different areas in the pub to sit, depending on how quiet you like it to be. There is a large outdoor space that is fenced off to keep young children safe while you eat your meal or have a drink.
We ordered the mixed grill, which was cooked well, and arrived in good time. The service was friendly and professional. The best service I've received in years.
The only thing that let the Shuttle & Loom down, for me, was the music. It was good pub music, but I prefer something a little more chilled when going out for a meal. All in all, an excellent find. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good 'pub grub' at a reasonable price.

Food was brought out sporadically which was disappointing but the server was apologetic and really good. Not a massive range for vegetarians but very good value. Decor/furnishings could do with a refresh looks tired in areas.
