Loving the Jalapeño Chicken Fries...delicious! Worth a visit for those alone...but staff are friendly and helpful so remember to be polite. Sadly, like most restaurants of this type it is frequented by the usual scumbags who live on fast food!!

The restaurant at thinford is fresh, clean and well designed with indoor and outdoor seating and a drive through, all new staff and self serve drinks machines, it also has electronic order points and a number call order system.
Cooks are really skilled and you get what you expect from a burgerking. I got lucky and got into a training session and got some free food and I can say it was amazing.

I had a Big King XL meal with a diet Coke. It was fresh, filling and tasty. Both the burger and the fries were hot, I do like hot food. Overall, I was very pleased.

The food at this Burger King is sound and the staff try their hardest but this isn't the issue. The place is in major need of a renovation. I don't think its been renovated since it opened which I'm guessing would of been the 1980s early 1990s. And some of the patrons don't help either. I'm pretty sure some deliberately leave mess on purpose which doesn't help or make this place look any better.

This Burger King is like the Burger King that time forgot. They are probably using the original chairs and tables from when they first opened. Everything just looked old except for the random posters stuck on the wall.
A lot of people say the place is dirty, which is true but from what I noticed it was the customers making it that way. One family full of Chavs left food all over the table and floor, then just walked out, I saw it with my own eyes.
The food we got was sound, It was what I expect from Burger King. The staff were nice, I could see them attempting to clear up the mess but it must get tiring seeing people deliberately leave mess.
And the toilets are minging, I can confirm that.

Darlington cornmill site. Love BK food always cooked well and served hot unlike other similar food outlets. The only problem with this site is it needs a good refurb as it was in the beginning. It had lovely cushioned seating in some areas which have been taken out and replaced with cheap seats that are very uncomfortable to sit in whilst eating your meals. Being on the main street when folk enter and the door is left open makes the food/customers cold and the smell of smoke from tobacco and exhaust fumes are very off putting. Maybe a door that automatically closes after someone enters could be considered. Staff were helpful and friendly but some of the staffs uniforms were a bit disheveled a good wash n press might have helped and also the correct size on one of them too. Buttons popping open and seems stretched to their max does not look proffeiinal at all and gives a bad look to the company.
