Chumley's

I write this in hopes that the management returns to high quality experience we had last summer...this afternoon my family and I took an old friend for lunch touting the high quality food and enjoyable atmosphere. My wife and daughter had the fish and chips, our friend the kale salad and I had the California chicken sandwich. We each had a drink (I had a beer.) Over $70 later we all left flat and underwhelmed. The salad was in no way an entree size salad, and the two small pieces of fish on an extraordinarily large bed of fries lacked all proportion. My sandwich was very good and the Disco fries were just as I remembered them. However, last year the price point seemed justified to proportion of great food. This year not so much. Hope you guys will redouble your quality to price ratio!

It is sad how the quality of this place has declined since they first opened. The past two seasons, the food has really gone downhill. Tiny burgers (and I mean where's the beef?) soggy buns, and burnt/tasteless fries have been the norm this season from my last two experiences. Gone is the great quality tasty burgers and the wonderful house made thick fries they once did that I gave them 5 stars for. And for the price I paid for such poor quality-disgusting. I expect much better. Save your money and head down to DnB or Mary's if you want quality and consirently good burgers and sides.

Went there this afternoon for lunch. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Setting was very nice sitting outside along a pretty quiet street. The food was great. Between us we had three different burgers and the last bster roll. No one in our group was disappointed. Three different selection of fries and not a bad selection in the bunch. Hope to get there again.

Ordered two burgers one meduim rare with bacon extra cheese mayo ketchup and pickles. The other well done with the egg on it (sunrise?) Was told ten minutes showed up on time got in the car and realized the fries were cold no big deal not gonna complain. Open my burger and theres no bacon and its well done (hockeypuck style) but the cheese isnt melted. Two peices sitting on top of eachother so cold i could pull them apart. My friends burger was cooked meduim rare he didnt care he ate it. I went back to exchange and the girl was very nice. Got my burger remade she handed me a gift card for $5 half the vost of the burger but whatever brought the food back to my spot to find out the whole bun was black. I wish i could upload the picture here. This place is an overpriced and all hype.

I love this place so much that I even had my "rehearsal dinner" here! The food is amazing ! the staff was so accommodating to my large and louder than life family. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the food and the location. I am still craving their clam chowder <3 I can't wait to go back. Thank you Chumley's for a spectacular night!
