Bought a pasty, highly recommend one of the best pasties had in a while, excellent customer service

Lovely historic upstairs tea rooms. Had a cream tea and scones had been freshly made and so light in texture 👍👍👍👍👍

Ate here last Sunday after refusing 2 other bakery who refuses cash. This cafe accepts cash, and had a friendly welcome. Food was good quality and spoke to the lady about the importance of keeping cash. Will visit again. I will add our visit to my video I am making about our trip to Devon on YouTube.

Had a nice breakfast, didn't want the beans and tomato, there was also lots of toast

Nice food and enjoyable vegan option. It would be nice to see a few more vegan cake options but I enjoyed the vegan pasty that I had.

Very old building and literally like a ship in the wake. Biggest and best priced cream tea in the English Riviera. Initially I was sceptical when the Rodders was lacking….but the Langage Farm sponsored by Ingrid was just as good….even if her secret is “first class grass 🚬 makes first class cream”.
Apparently the chips are amazing! They also let you pay with change which is a rarity these days.
Great hospitality and to satisfy everyone’s curiosity….the toilets aren’t sloped! So don’t panic!
As quaint as I remember it from years ago

A bit of a step back in time feel but cosy environment. We had a cream tea which was very good and there was ample choice to select from. Staff were friendly and attentive. Need to go up stairs to cafe area.

Had a takeaway Cornish pasty here, really good pasty at a reasonable price. Absolutely full of beef, unlike a lot of pasties that are full of air!
Service was friendly.
Would go here again for a pasty.

Amazing house "The Butterwalk" built between 1634 and 1640. Now a bakery and cafe. Nice food and efficient service in amazing history.

Apart from a big queue for the toilet, lovely atmospheric tea rooms.
