Really good place, you can eat in or outside if you want. Nice and clean with an open kitchen. The food is excellent and the coffee is my favourite. The gentleman that runs it is always polite and obviously tries his best to provide good service. There's usually a little wait for food as it's always busy but you won't be disappointed. Really recommend this cafe.

I've been here a couple of times. I'm sat writing my review after eating a full breakfast which was so nice I can highly recommend it. The staff here seem very nice and very helpful.

We now go here fairly regular as our other cafe closed. We go for breakfast, which is nice, but beans and tomatoes can still be cold.

After feeling unsatisfied at cafe's in Hyndburn and Blackburn me and my partner first visited CJs in search of a mean tasty full english breakfast a few years ago. When we got there staff were pleasant making us feel welcome in their family friendly cafe. We ordered the All Day Breakfast and was not left disappointed. We have been going back every weekend since and the breakfast is consistently great everytime. If you are looking for a yummy cooked breakfast then I highly recommend CJs, they are second to none!

I've been coming here for a good few years and always been happy with what I've ordered. Food is homemade and the soups are especially good. Staff are always friendly and if there's any problems, they're happy to help. Recommend to all .x.

This cafe is the hub of Albert square.... erm I mean darwen town... The patrons that sit inside and out are a friendly bunch, even when they are behaving like they are sat in the queen Victoria. The food is of good quality and the staff are a friendly lot.
