Wow! What a find! Tucked away in the middle of this housing estate sits this gorgeous barn, honestly I was a bit blown away and did not expect this!
We had a roast each and the food was simply sublime, good value for money, filling and tasty! Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
One to very much recommend and one to revisit for sure!

Very good food, even more enjoyable with discount. Staff did seem overworked, not sure they expected it to be as busy! Slight mix up with order and then bill, not convinced we were charged correctly but still enjoyed our visit.

WOW! Easy to book & dog friendly - just what we needed whilst visiting the area for the first time. BUT that's only the start. The service was absolutely excellent, the staff very friendly and welcoming and (the most important) the food was absolutely brilliant. Served quickly, hot, good quality and very very tasty. A reasonable price too. We were extremely impressed and to be honest we are getting old and generally fussy, so to impress us is not easy (my Wife's roast potatoes are still better than yours though ;-) ). The place was clean, tidy and had a good atmosphere. We liked the venue a lot. Next time we are nearby we will definitely return. Our dog Dexter (and us) was very impressed with the Dog Menu and his sausages were great! It's so good being able to bring him whilst on holiday as dogs are not generally allowed to be left in holiday accommodation by themselves. Thank you for very enjoyable meal and drinks. Top of the class. Well done.

Last minute Friday night meal, quick walk up from home and even bumped in to an old friend. Food was good, service a little slow but as it was a Friday evening we didn’t mind and enjoyed a relaxed meal.

We received a 30% off voucher so booked and set the sat nav. Sat nav took me near it, not exactly to it, but was OK to find. Decoration looked new and was very clean. Good selection of beer etc. Menu was good, grill, burgers and mains. Atmosphere was good, quite busy for a Wednesday. All round above average

We had an enjoyable time. The food was good. The surf and turf was a little short with the surf. I booked as it was a Saturday but the table we were taken too was not really ready because floor where we had to put our feet was covered in breadcrumbs and larger bits of bread etc. I’m sure children inadvertently made the mess but it should have been cleared up before we are shown to the table. The service was good and the staff were great.

What a beautiful venue!! Brought the family here and it just has a lovely, homely feeling. Food was fab, and staff couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent service and the food quality is also excellent. Pub salads are usually under par but not at Middlemore, their salads are prepared extremely well and are fresh, the dressing is also delicious. Well done staff of Middlemore, your friendly attitude keeps us coming back! Liz :)

Waited for pre booked table for a while, no one came so headed to bar. Barman was pleasant but seemed pre occupied and asked a few people about our table finally got seated. Had to ask to be re seated as the speaker was really loud as they had a pub quiz on. I get that the quiz was on but it was a very loud tannoy! Even at the new table in restaurant the quiz masters voice was very loud! However he was good, walking around the venue getting people involved just very loud! Not all food was available, waiting staff very pleasant and apologetic. Bar staff need some customer service training! Out of 3 meals 2 were good, lasagne was below average for the price paid! Pudding was chocolate bomb and was very good, not put me off going back

The food is very much improved since I visited last and there is lots of choice.
Great value for food that was good quality. All well presented too. The sticky toffee pudding was wonderful.

Easily booked online. Very attentive and quick service. Food was very good and pricing very fair. Great menu choices for adults, would have liked to have seen a pasta dish on the children’s menu such as spaghetti bolognese/lasagna/meatballs etc we had our 6 year old grandson with us and whilst lots of children are happy with the burgers etc on the children’s menu, he tends to eat a more healthy diet, therefore we had to buy an adult portion lasagna which was far too large, the waitress was happy to box up what wasn’t eaten though and we took it home to refrigerate so wasn’t an issue but a child’s portion would have sufficed and been more cost effective on the purse. Great selection of drinks, lovely venue and very clean and inviting.

We had the "buy two steaks meal" with a bottle of wine for £20.00, (yesterday) Tuesday 29/08/17 the steaks were cooked to perfection I had the 10oz Gammon steak my husband Thom had the 8oz sirloin the whole meal was excellent I would thoroughly recommend this place to visit �

Went here tonight as myself and my 2 friends wanted somewhere centrally to meet,coming from Banbury,N’thampton and Leicester-the outside looks lovely-staff were a bit slow on the greeting but we found our table and were given menus. Staff were friendly and helpful,although we were served by about 4 different people over the duration. The food was good,hot, well presented and good value for money-roughly £20 for 3 courses plus drinks.
There did seem to be a few flies around in the restaurant-not sure if this was due to standards in the restaurant or just because it’s such hot weather.
If you want à la carte food-this isn’t your place-if you want good food/pub grub-give it a go!

We went here to celebrate my grandma's birthday as we'd been before. What a disappointment. The service wasn't great, very slow and the staff were miserable. They need to learn how to smile. The food depending on what you ordered was ok, but wouldn't recommend the Sunday roast. We won't be back which is a shame as never had any issues before.

Terrible service, waited over an hour and half for our food (wasn't busy) had to ask where our food was, the waitress was very rude and didn't even apologise, my food came out stone cold so had to send it back, the waitress came over to tell my friend they forgot to cook her garlic bread and when it finally arrived the waitress almost threw it at her, only offered 20% discount for the wait but the customer on another table was given a full refund, will not be returning!

Long wait for drinks much longer wait for food, my gammon tasted awful & my daughters pizza was not a pizza looked more like a naan bread with melted cheese on she refused to eat it as it wasn't a pizza! Not in a hurry to go back

Booked a table for 4 for 6pm. After trying to order our drinks at bar was told to sit at our table and someone would come and take our drinks order. Waited 10 mins and had to ask a waitress to serve us. After another 15 mins a couple sat on the next table to us and was asked what they wanted to eat straight away. We still had not been asked what we want to eat at this time. So again we had to ask the waitress if we could order and was not happy someone had come in half hour after us and got served straight away. My husband was all ready to leave and go and eat elsewhere but because we had 2 children with us it was getting later and later to eat. We feel it is a complete waste of time booking a table just for someone to come in on the off chance of getting a table and gets served straight away. We usually like coming up middlemore but this has really put us off.

Going down hill I’m afraid. 9 of us went for my wife’s birthday yesterday and kept being told they didn’t have the basics I.e bacon on a burger. Terrible smell outside the premises, men’s toilet was covered in water with only a sign stood in the middle of it all (why someone couldn’t mop it up is beyond me) and 6 out of 9 of us were sick that evening not making into work! Poor

Food was great especially the burgers and fiery chips! All served hot had to wait for about half hour for food but at least it was freshly cooked and prepared staff were lovely too �

It was ok. Beautiful building. Very impressed with the decor. 10/10.
Shame about the meals. They had run out of quite a few things, even basics, yorkshire puddings. Not a big deal you may think, but we werent informed there were none available until the meal was placed in front of us. I for one, would have ordered something else had I been told when I was placing order. A few puddings not available. Yes I realise you were busy, but surely someone would have realised you were going to be busy as it was Easter weekend and amended your catering orders accordingly.
A member of the group also was told that they could not use a £50 note to pay the bill. I know a lot of places do that, but we saw no sign informing us of that information beforehand again. Also its a real shame that when fake notes have been used in the past that the staff have had to reimburse the pub out of their own wages. Fake notes are very hard to recognise.
As for the staff, a great difference between the friendliest of the staff and the least friendliest.
One Guy was fab. Chatty, friendly and helpful. Other members of staff, helpful but surly!
Left feeling disappointed and hungry Im afraid.

Quality of food and price was ok but the Sharing chicken was served in a stone cold dish and we were given stone cold plates which spoilt otherwise enjoyable food, a basic error for anyone with any pride in their work. Was our first visit and not sure whether to give them a second chance.
