Lovely fish and chips. Having tried other 'chippys' nearby over the last year, I have returned to Penaligons Plaice, as the quality of the food is always excellent and and non greasy. Also, good old fashioned pleasant and friendly service...
This is the only place I will get a takeaway, why? Because the fish and chips are absolutely excellent, and very importantly they are very covid aware with a mask policy to protect their customers who come into the shop, I am personally clinically vulnerable which is why Penaligons Plaice is the only place I will go, delicious food and safety being paramount, with no exceptions, well done guys for keeping your customers safe and well fed with the best fish and chips you can get locally and always a polite and friendly service.

The tastiest fish amd chips around, lots of cod not to much batter , lovely chips Although we dont live in dawlish warren we come out of our way to come here. Great staff too .

We live locally and have been eating delicious food in penaligons for over 45 years,we think the fish and chips are the best you will get in the south west !!! Keep up the good work penaligons....and we are looking forward to our next visit soon
