Lovely quiet location, our room was a twin room and they managed to accommodate a z bed for my grandson at the last minute. Lovely decor, large enough shower, but sink in bedroom but not a problem. One thing that I loved was the fact that there plenty of plug sockets near the beds and one at the side of the full length mirror to dry my hair. There was also a fan to use if it was warm. Only complaint about the room and this is a small one, no mugs for my morning coffee only tea cups. Food was lovely, had a steak burger and it is the best one I have had in a long time. Owners are lovely and accomadating even when we had posted the room keys through the letter box and then realised we had left the car keys in the room. Would definitely stay here again.
The plough is everything you could want in a pub! The staff are so friendly and care about the fact that you should have a good time whilst at the premises, they have a great selection of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The pub has a great atmosphere and you know you can always have a laugh and a great time. If you are looking for somewhere that does Tasty, home cooked seasonal food with a fine dining feel this is the place for you. The menu is never the same and the chef always sources great quality local produce the chef is always accommodating and will always push the boat out! I love the plough and would recommend any one try it and I can assure you you will not be disappointed! 😊
