Abbeywood Gardens Restaurant

We had my daughters wedding here.She used all the flowers from the garden for her flowers from the onsite florist.She and her husband choose them a few days prior to their wedding..such a lovely touch..the florist did such beautiful displays,bouqets etc,they were faultless! The venue is beautiful and the staff very attentive.we booked out all the rooms and it made it feel so private and intimate. The 3 course meal was well cooked,and very tasty.The bar staff did great drinks and service was quick.The serviving staff were very polite and it all flowed with no hitches. The wedding organizer onsite ensured everything ran to clockwork on the day..Everybody said how gorgeous it all was..a really magical day for the couple,friends and family..thank you to all the staff..

We knew Abbeywood was the location for our wedding straightaway, and we couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else; it is pure perfection. The grounds are immaculate and the beautiful accommodation onsite allowed us to soak up every moment before and after the wedding. From being shown around on our initial visit, to the food/wine tasting, we felt we really got to know everyone at Abbeywood, and it was so nice to see all the familiar faces of the team on the day who felt like friends by the time our wedding came around. The staff are absolutely top tier and went out of their way to make our day special and run smoothly. A big thank you to Heather, who was calm, organised and always smiling – we truly felt safe in your experienced hands and like nothing was ever too much trouble. We couldn’t have wished for a better team to look after us. The food was so delicious and the ability to produce such fresh, tasty dishes in vast quantities is outstanding. Alison, the onsite florist, was a pure joy to work with and the option to pick out flowers from the onsite cutting garden to go into the bouquets is a truly bespoke and special service. We couldn’t have wished for a kinder, more talented, fabulous person to create our wedding flowers! The flowers on the day were just what we were envisaging and more! Alison's calming demeaner was just what we needed on the morning of the wedding (I couldn’t have wished for a nicer person to gently introduce the idea that our ceremony probably shouldn’t be outside on the drizzly day that was our wedding day!) Her ability to make our new inside location for the ceremony look so beautiful in such a short space of time was pure magic.
