Super food, party of 6, Sunday evening, 4 had vegetarian roast, 2 had pork, faultless. And desserts good value nice size. Would definitely recommend.
We had the Sunday roast and it was yummy! Only thing I’d have to say is that the veggies were way too overly seasoned/salty so it was hard to eat… besides that, I enjoyed the meal.
The Sunday lunch was utterly delicious. As I'm vegetarian I didn't have any meat. The roast potatoes were particularly brilliant 10/10. It's always a treat to get stuffing as well. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, not too hard or too soft. Goldilocks would have been delighted.
Ive had Sunday roasts all around the UK and across various parts of the world and I can honestly say this is probably one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of demolishing!
Everything was cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy and well seasoned, the roasties were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and again the seasoning was perfect. The carrots, parsnips, green beans, broccolini were all amazing too. The other champions of this dish were the creamy mash, perfect yorkshire pudding, stuffing and of course the gravy!
I would honestly consider flying all the way back from Australia where I live on a weekly basis just for this dinner!
Not only that the staff were all lovely and chef James very clearly cares about the food he is plating up and its easy to see why this place is voted into the top 10 roasts in the country.
Oh and lastly theres a vegetarian option that has the same love and skill poured into it as the meat based dishes. The nut roast was delicious.
Well done guys keep it up!
Wow! The food, drinks, staff and atmosphere wss amazing. The bottomless menu was well worth the money. Definitely would go again.
We're going on an adventure
+5
First time visiting - dined outside (though this is only temporary till restrictions lift). Easy to order to table & pay using the app. Staff were friendly and food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the madras & honey fries). Definitely planning a return visit when we can eat inside again!
Was absolutely amazing, best sunday dinner we have ever had. All the staff seem really nice to, will defo reccomend to everyone and will be going back asap
What a place, our first time
Super friendly staff
Starters where amazing
The Sunday Lunch mains was superb
Well worth a visit
Lovely food and friendly staff. Service is pretty quick, as was the food. Looking forward to going back to try the brunch menu soon!
What a hidden little gem that somehow captures you the second you walk in. The aroma of things to come greets you as you enter the old bank building, with lofted ceilings, aged oak, and the mix of modernity with steel and glass. Very comfortable and homely.
The kitchen and bar area are completely open to view and the staff are very accommodating and friendly.
The food was bar non, the best I've tasted in saddleworth. Offering new sensations like the "Madras honey fries" and "Torched sea bass on a Thai green curry base", this little sensation is a must if you like to spoil your taste buds.
The drinks menu is just as good, offering all usual bar fare plus some very well made cocktails. Admittedly I sampled quite a few. 😉.
A total thumbs up to the palate cleanser of fruit salad chews, instead of the boring usual chocolate mints. Very cool move.
Overall a huge thumbs up.
