Bish, bash, bosh. Well, it was anniversary time, so we decided to try somewhere that's been on the radar for a while Blue Sapphire Thai Cuisine in Denton. I'll start off by saying parking for any of the Denton restaurants is a nightmare!
Anyway got there at opening time and got a table before the inevitable rush. Drinks ordered, two mocktails as they don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own for a corkage fee. The drinks were great though, very fresh and tasty.
We ordered the starters and shared the mixed platter and I had a bowl of Tom Kha Gai, and both were absolutely superb. Again, super fresh, great tastes and bang on.
Mains were vegetarian Pad Thai and Tamarind duck with egg fried rice. Both dishes absolutely smashed it out of the park. The duck was especially worth a mention as it's easy to make a mess of it, but no, they didn't here.
Anyway, overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Only deducting a star because the dessert choices as my other half said, were utterly tragic.
A rehash of the dessert menu offering items like Thai mango sticky rice or coconut pudding etc would get that extra star.
Try it, you won't be disappointed. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
We had my brother’s 30th birthday here and the staff were amazing! They let us put banners up and they brought the cake out with candles, plates etc.
The food was excellent and we were all happy with our meals. Highly recommend.
Ordered a takeaway here for the first time. Lovely food, fresh and tasty. The only negative is the takeaway prices are the same as eating in. The pad Thai was delicious and reasonable price, however, the pad khee Mao was priced the same but was only a small portion that needed a side dish so was quite pricey. I would recommend eating in but not as a takeaway as seems a little overpriced for the portion size.
